Last night's first 75 minute episode of Children of Earth was an explosive beginning to this nightly five episode run. The second episode is on tonight at 6:00 and 9:00 P.M. in the Pacific Time Zone.
I really enjoyed The Next Doctor, the first of 4/5 David Tennant episodes on BBC America Saturday night. I think the second episode will air this October and the third around the year end holidays. The final two hour episode should air in the Spring.
Ashes to Ashes debuted last night on BBC America. It's a continuation of the British version of Life on Mars after Sam Tyler's presumed demise. I enjoyed the episode. It was a bit difficult to follow as it was jammed packed with bits n' pieces to establish the premise.
A reminder that A&E has an 8 episode MI-5 Marathon Saturday 10/20 from 11:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. Episodes 3 through 10 of the latest 2006 season are being shown. Episode 1 and 2 were shown a few weeks back. BTW, I have no idea why A&E is handling this outstanding show in this manner.
Yesterday I saw the news that A&E will serve up MI-5 Season Two starting Friday September 15th at 11:00 p.m. A&E certainly isn't showing it too much love though with such a late start time.
I really liked the Brotherhood Showtime premier last night. Quite compelling and fills the void now that the Sopranos are finished for this year. It's eleven episodes for this opening season. Hope it catches on and finds an audience, HBO needs more quality competition.
When I read a review that the show was sort of a mixture of Starman and John Doe I had see for myself last night. I was pleasantly rewarded. Kyle XY is on the ABC Family channel and there are 10 episodes for this first season. The show is also being repurposed, at least for the first four...
My apologies if this turns out that I'm recalling a mini-series rather than a movie. All I remember is it was a fantasy tale where the bad rulers' mountain castle would rise and fly off to another location. Does that ring a bell for anyone?
I have an old Proton 520 integrated stereo amplifier which I bought used back in the 1980's. There was no manual but the back plate says it's 150W, and a Usenet search came up with this info: 20 continuous average W/ch 20-20000 Hz with no > 0.015 % THD into 8 ohms. Dynamic headroom 4.7 dB. Slew...
