I haven't seen this since I was pretty young and hardly remember anything about it. I've been reading the books though (I've finished the first five). Had Princess Ozma been raised as a boy in the movie?
The Labyrinth has a strong, young female lead. She's kinda spoilt in the beginning, but she changes. Mulan, The Secret of Nimh, and Ever After also have pretty strong leads too. None of these are really superheroes though.
