There are only 3 mid-fi/high end stores in town, so one could just make a few calls to see what's available for dem: High Fidelity, Audio Systems, and Whetstone (my favorite).
Mike, One could easily run through a DVD setup disc after an auto calibration as a sanity check. I would think some Elite receiver owner would have confirmed this by now.
The ol' Blu-Tak question never seem to go away, does it? Someone would complain that high-end stores and mail order houses would sell actual Blu-Tak for $15-20 for a nice sized slab (about twice the amount of that Staples stuff shown above). And of course, someone would say they got a similar...
How should one set an active sub's controls prior to doing the auto-calibration, including any cross-over settings? I don't have an audio setup just yet...just curious about it all for now.
