    Samurai Jack (MERGED THREAD)

I picked up Season 1 of Samurai Jack and now I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment. I was wondering how many seasons there are and if the show ever came to a conclusion.

Must...have...info on the DVD release of the Dawn of the Dead remake

I don't know, the more I think about it, the October release isn't a bad thing really. I'd rather wait for a polished, excellent release than have one that was rushed to meet a July street date. Now there's no excuse for it being a bad disc. Kind of wish Uni would have released the theatrical...

Must...have...info on the DVD release of the Dawn of the Dead remake

That's because Universal is a studio built around tie-ins. Uni is releasing 'Jesus Christ Superstar' on-surprise surprise- the same day Mel Gibson's 'Passion' streets. And then there's the whole matter of them waiting 6 months to release 'The Rundown' just to tie in with the theatrical release...

Must...have...info on the DVD release of the Dawn of the Dead remake

This is getting ridiculous. If Universal didn't want to announce the film they shouldn't have released the cover art one month ago. They sent the fans into a frenzy of speculation and made the wait even more difficult. All I want is an official street date, even if it is October. 'Ladykillers'...

Must...have...info on the DVD release of the Dawn of the Dead remake

I'm hearing October now too. 5 more months until I can watch it again...Tom Petty was right, the waiting is the hardest part. I was hoping Patrick could chime in on this...

Must...have...info on the DVD release of the Dawn of the Dead remake

At this point I'm wondering if Universal has postponed the release date. They have already announced Connie and Carla for an August release and the month of July is already filling up with announced titles like Hellboy. If Universal is still going ahead with a July 27 release they should be...

    Details: Torque

Since there's no review on the forum for this flick I thought I'd chime in. I saw this film last January at theaters and walked out. But I always give a movie a second chance because maybe I had a bad day or what have you. I never expected to like this movie as much as I did upon a second...

    Details: Ella Enchanted (Fullscreen only!)

What really makes me mad is when they announce a fullscreen flick that has 5.1 surround. Last time I checked most people with a 5.1 sound system are serious about home theater and are the types who would appreciate the widescreen option.

I bet that the Deep Impact Collector's Edition is a tie-in to the DVD release of Day After Tomorrow...

Dawn of the Dead 2004 Coverart and unofficial details

Been well over three weeks since Universal released the cover art. Wonder what's keeping the announcement? Maybe they've changed their release plans.

*** Official VAN HELSING Review Thread

One word sums up my entire experience while watching this film: UGH. What makes me angry though is the fact that Universal spends 160 odd million on this when there are probably a ton of great scripts out there, waiting to get made, that are more important. A movie like this probably didn't...

Dawn of the Dead 2004 Coverart and unofficial details

I don't know about the rest of you guys but I'm getting pretty anxious about the official announcement (read: impatient). I saw DOTD a total of 6 times in the theater and right now I'm having withdrawal :D. The second run theater nearby just closed last week so my hopes of seeing DOTD again...

    Official TMNT (2003) DVD Thread

I'm creating this thread in hopes that it will be the sole place for topics on the 2003 edition on the TMNT cartoon. Anyway, to start things off, it seems Funimation is releasing Volume 9 on this Tuesday, May 4th. Does anyone have any idea which episodes will be included as info appears to be...

Must...have...info on the DVD release of the Dawn of the Dead remake

Hey thanks Patrick! The cover's great and it's nice to know we're getting the unrated cut after all. I was going to buy it anyway even if it wasn't unrated but it's great to know for sure. Of course, we all know there's going to be four different versions...pan & scan unrated, pan & scan rated...

    Predator Special Edition Cover Art

Fox said in a previous chat that this would be out in time for AVP so I just assumed it meant July or so. If cover art is already available though it could be out sooner.

Any Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Season 1 reviews

The theme song is the same for Season 1 as it always has been. This was one of the first songs I memorized as a kid and I'd notice a change-there is no change. The bonus episodes do have a different theme song but this was much later in the series so they finally changed it. I got mine...

*** Official KILL BILL: VOLUME 2 Review Thread

I was really taken away with Volume 1. I had never experienced a film so fun and so near perfection like I had that night on October 10, 2003. Kill Bill Volume 1 was excellent, four stars, and all that cliche stuff. I went to Volume 2 expecting a differnt kind of film. I got a different kind...

Must...have...info on the DVD release of the Dawn of the Dead remake

For some reason the wait for DVD is especially difficult for me and the Dawn of the Dead remake. Does anyone have any rumors or possible street dates? The only thing I've heard is the possibility of an unrated cut.

Awesome film. I mean the level of failure here was so high and it was totally surpassed. I've seen it twice now, going to see it for a third time and a fourth tomorrow...don't worry I work at a theater and get in free otherwise I'd be waiting for the DVD after the first time :D. It doesn't...

    Land of the Dead (2005)

Fox dropped the rights and last I heard Guiellrmo Del Toro was trying to help get the film up and running again. I'm convinced that the only thing that could make it happen now is the impending success of the Dawn remake.

DVD Review HTF REVIEW: Dawn of the Dead - Special Edition

Thanks very much Drew and Vincent. See, I've only seen the film in the director's cut version plus the theatrical cut mentioned above. I always thought it was odd how Pilato just popped up. I just wish I was had been born when it came out to theaters :D. I actually had a chance to see this...

DVD Review HTF REVIEW: Dawn of the Dead - Special Edition

I just watched mine tonight and I spotted two MAJOR errors. I own the theatrical cut DVD put out by AB put out in 1999. The run time for that is 128 minutes and the Divimax version which is clearly the same cut runs only 127 minutes. Here is one very good scene cut completely out: When Roger...
