I currently own a Sherbourn 7/2100, and would describe it as neutral in sound. I honestly can't tell the difference between it and the Acurus 5 x 125 I used to own sound wise. Hope this is the kind of opinion you were looking for. I have not noticed any hum with the amp either.

I have the Sherbourn 7/2100, and think it's a great amp. The previous amp I had was a Acurus 5 x 125. I think you can't go wrong with either the Aragon or the Sherbourn. I know the Sherbourn does operate at Class G when reaching certain levels, but have never noticed any distortion with it. Hope...

Wayne, That's exactly what I am saying. I believe I had to reduce the channel levels because the Sherbourn is a 200 watt per channel amp and the Acurus is rated at 125 per channel.

Mike, I wouldn't neccesarily say that the Outlaw 950 sounds better than the Denon. They sound different. In my opinion, the Denon sounds warm while the Outlaw tends to not add any coloration at all to the sound. But that's the way I percieved how the 2 units performed against each other. I do...

I am using an all NHT setup (1.5's in the front, and audiocenter 1, and 4 superones for surround, and 2 NHT subs). The amp is a Acurus 5 x 125 and a Chiro C-300 for the subs and the back surrounds).
