My family and I refused to get the vax, we didn't wear masks (got yelled at a lot for that) and went out during the lock-down. We even had local pubs that went speakeasy and would only let in those they new via a camera. None of us have had anything remotely close to a flu, Covid or head cold in...
Yeah, I hear ya Tom. I remember the meets we used to have, the studios we'd tour, the home events we put on with other members. Good times, a long time ago...
We recently went back to our wedding spot, the Stone Brewery in San Marcos, near San Diego. So rad to be back and we had some amazing IPA's as well, a few we enjoyed...
Expermintal IPA
Cosmic Runestone IPA

My wife and I have never stopped working, a blessing for sure. We also have a local dive-bar that has gone compete speakeasy so we have an out whenever we want all while everything else is shut down. It has also made the drive to our mountain house much nicer, a lot less traffic on the roads...
Thanks guys, it's good to be back, a little anyway. We are pretty much up in Idyllwild every weekend trying to get this place finished. So darn close... Going up for 4 days this next weekend and I'm hoping to get the new laundry room completely built out, that is the final room that needs done...
Wow, can't believe this thread is nearly 20 years old  and while I don't due too much beer anymore it's nice to see the thread is alive and well. I do like my Karl Strauss IPA at Disneyland (when they were open).
We are doing well, my wife works from home and because I work solo, I haven't really stopped, very lucky in that regard. Family is healthy and doing good as well. We have been saving a ton of cash due to not going out, no Disneyland and so on.
One nice perk, our local dive bar does "cleaning"...
Thanks for all the warm welcomes back. it's good to be back, again! hahaha...
Lots and lots of craziness for sure. Our daughter graduated CSUF Cum Laude this semester and headed off to Colorado with her fiance, my wife and I landed some really cool jobs we both absolutely love and we bought a...
Hello all HTF enthusisits, I cannot even remember when the last time I posted here, but I'm sure HTF does... hahaha. Well, thought I'd check back in and see if there are any of the older folks around I used to chat with many moons ago.
I still have my dedicated HT room in the garage. 96" 1080p...
Her name is Lucy and she (we think) is a one year old Green Iguana. A coworker had to give her up so I jumped on the opportunity to take her.
She is a feisty one, that tail can whip worse then Indiana Jones on a bad day. But, after only 3 days and lots of scratches, tail and claw marks she let...
I do Jack, and while you may not remember me, I do remember you. I am so very sorry, beyond words to read your story and what has happened to you. I don't venture out much here anymore as this site has gotten so big but it was Mike who posted a link in the Testy Area 51 thread that brought me...
I did not. I don't venture out much here anymore due to the size of this forum. I don't have the words, but what I do have is the means to help, I remember Jack, and I will. So very sad, I read it all late last night and am beyond sad to read his life story. Thank you Mike for the heads up...
Zen lives! Very cool, how are ya dude?
Well, yet again, it's been a bit since my pop-in visit. Lot's going on, yet again...
Got married on 3/11 to this amazing woman after nearly 3 years of being together. We tied the knot at the Stone World Bistro and Garden's, where all of Stone's amazing...
I'm not a huge fan of amber/red ales but I gotta say the Evil Dead Red by AleSmith brewing is quite delish. Very well balanced and a bit heavier than your average red ale. It came out during Halloween and I haven't seen it since. If you're of fan of this type ale try and find some.
In just a few days the lady and I are off to Sin City, so excited, 4 days of nothing but drinking, eating, drinking, gambling, drinking and fun. Got a deal at the Golden Nugget for $33 per night with a BOGO on breakfast and lunch buffets for every day we are there. Bought Jet Blue tix for $175...
Hahahaha, too funny. She's all good, doesn't care much about what I do which is really cool. I go to Angels baseball games because she loves the team. She does HT and goes to Disneyland because I love it. It's really great.
As for a scheduel. I agree it's a good thing but right now I'm doing it...
I can sure try, it's tough because the room is completely blacked out, from the walls to the celing there's nothing but black so it's difficult to take pics. I will give it a shot though.
Thank you Walter, it is good to be back.
Was I the only one that really enjoyed The Lone Ranger? Well, the family and myself anyway. I really, really liked it. Very fun, entertaining film. Seems it was a BIG stinker among the majority though.
I can. Remember, I already have the slab in place and two walls built. A roof and two more walls is all I need. My rough budget is as follows..
$500 for lumber
$250 for roofing materials
$500 for drywall and finishing
$600 for insualtion, door, and electrical
$200 for carpet
$300 for paint and...
