Anyone have any idea what's going on with Buena Vista's "My Neighbor Totoro" 2-disc set release? I had it down for 24th August 2004, but Amazon.com are now saying the release date hasn't even been finalised. Any info?

I disagree, JerryB - the Region 2 "Buffy" and "Angel" boxes are staggeringly bad. In part, the poor packaging prompted me to wait for the Region 1 releases of these series (that and also the fact that there is a cut in the season 3 episode "The Zeppo" and I can not abide censorship).

Besides the UK release of Mulan, all the other countries in Region 2 (the entirety of Europe with different censorship standards, of course) have anamorphic and uncut versions out on DVD. It's also anamorphic and uncut in Region 4. A couple of others: The Region 2 Go has animated scored menus...
