The Complete "The Lord of the Rings: score - with 5.1 DVD

The colours match Nonesuch's scheme for the leather bound limited edition soundtrack albums. Technically, the EEs screwed up the colour scheme. :)

Quick question about Lord of the Rings Complete Recordins sets

I've seen both. The rounded spine seems to be more common. It's nice to see that I'm not the only person to have noticed. :)

The Two Towers complete recording on 3disc + DVD-Audio MLP.

The retail price is higher. With at least one extra disc, 'The Return of the King' may be even more expensive.

Sure would like the music from JOURNEY OF NATTY GANN...

Thanks to a recent deal with the AFM, re-use fees can be greatly reduced for limited editions of 3000 copies or less. This has allowed Varese Sarabande and other labels to release scores that would have been prohibitively expensive otherwise (Die Hard, Predator and Ghostbusters for example)...

Rhino, The Transformers, and GI JOE: The End of Innocence

Greg K, Nightmare Planet has always had two historical trailers. The finished episode is a little short, so I guess that the extra trailer was to pad it out. JeremySt, as far as I know, the VHS releases are mastered using the 1" broadcast masters.

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)

I'd be surprised if those were on there, since they're just edited suites taken from the rest of the score. The unused cues in the suites from the last two films will hopefully be returned to their proper places.

DVD Review *** Official HTF REVIEW & Discussion Thread: Star Wars Trilogy, pt. 1

Well, Star Wars looks very nice, but the sound mix is terrible. The flipped music in the rear channels is incompetent and unacceptable. I'm sure that many people won't notice (or won't care), but it's definitely wrong and deserving of an explanation.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

All European pressings of the Harry Potter score albums say 'Music from and Inspired by'. This could be because the albums contain some concert arrangements which do not appear in the film. The US releases all say 'Original Motion Picture Soundtrack'. The content is identical.

Until The End Of The World-dc Out In Italy

My copy of this arrived today. The packaging was somewhat larger than I expected. The four discs are housed in three Amaray style keepcases inside a larger slipcase. The 287 minute* film is spread across the first three discs, with the extras on the fourth. The film is presented in anamorphic...

Curious. I just checked my copy and counted twelve tracks. Is this the region 1 collector's edition?

That track listing is incorrect. The musical content of the menu is the same as the promotional release of the score. The correct track listing is as follows: 1.Main Title 2.Lunar Dreams 3."All Systems Go" - The Launch 4.Docking 5.Master Alarm 6.Into The LEM 7.The Dark Side of the Moon...

Any reviews of X-Files Season 7?

Well, my copy arrived today, and it's taken me about half an hour just to remove the insert from the back of the outer sleeve. Fox have changed the sticky stuff to the same hideous gunk that they used for the back of X-Men 1.5.
