Randy, I might be interested in your Pioneer elite VSX-39TX receiver. I recently had a problem with my VSX39TX and had it worked on. When I received the unit back from the repair shop it was in worse shape than before I brought it in. Over the years I have really grown fond of the...
I do believe that you'll be fine. BTW the 20-39 wont go down to 12hz for long if at all.
David,
Woops. I messed up on the model number. I purchased the SVS 20-39PC-Plus. Would you still say that 12hz would be pushing it? The site and manual seems to indicate that with the port plugs you can...
I was thinking about this the other day after I decided to purchase an SVS 20-36 subwoofer. Is there any danger to the 3 hard drives I have in my main computer which will be about 3-4ft away from the subwoofer and the hard drives in my Tivo and XBOX from the low frequencies (12hz - 50hz) created...

My personal picks for media are TDK, Verbatim and Pioneer. That being said... Supermedia Store has a decent deal on Pioneer 4x DVD-Rs in slim jewel cases I picked up 50 for $145 - $15 (coupon code*: DVDRW15) for a total of $130 + shipping (~$12.00) = $142 So thats $2.84 for 4x...
I got mine today. I called on Wednesday and the rep said I would be receiving my set this week. I had my doubts but sure enough it arrived in the mail today. -Dan
WOW
Didn't see this one coming... Although in the back of my mind I always knew it should happen. Needless to say I am a HUGE fan of this film. A friend of mine told me about the book a few weeks before the film came out. The film was incredible but it became a great experience when adding...
I am with you 100% I have to admit I did commit a cardinal sin. I purchased the current version. I just had to. This is a film I watch every year and the VHS copy was becoming painful to watch. Although the DVD isn't a drastic improvement at least we have it. Hopefully Warner will one day...
Title says it all... Just wondering if any HTF members will be attending the live performance of Mr. Show at any of the numerous performances across the country.
See http://bobanddavid.com
I am checking out the 9/27/02 10:30 performance at the Congress Theater in Chicago.

Lets see... RoboCop (DVD and LD) Silence of the Lambs (DVD) The Third Man (DVD) Trainspotting (LD) Ghostbusters (LD) Halloween (LD) Chasing Amy (LD and DVD) The Rock (LD) Seven (LD) so 9 unique titles -Dan
FUN HOUSE granted it was a kids gameshow... but I found it inventive and interesting as a kid. Much better than Double Dare or Finders Keepers(I think that was what it was called) -Dan
Finally the day has arrived. MGM did a very nice job on this disk. It will be interesting to see how well this disk sells and if we will get a director's cut in the future. ROTLD certainly proved to have a much larger fanbase than I thought it had.
Mike: Thanks for all your hard work to get...
Got my copy today and skimmed through it. I feel the transfer is acceptable. Is it perfect... no, but it is not as bad as it has been made out to be IMHO. I was really concerned that the transfer would be rather lackluster and detract from the viewing experience, but I found that I was...
Platoon with unapproved commentary? Really? Can someone enlighten me on this particular release or provide a link that discusses what was different from the commentary on the current release? very interested thanks -Dan
I picked up Gremlins/Gremlins 2, Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown for $61.76. With the free copy of Dusk till Dawn I received from Best Buy it comes to about $12.35 each. Not bad at all. Best buy didn't give me any problems with the instant $5 off Pulp/Jackie offer. Maybe I will go back for the Van...
