I have my PS3 set to "normal" on the upscale and my LCD tv set to "just Scan" mode. When i play Pulp Fiction and Weird Science the picture appears in the center of the screen with black bars top, bottom, and the sides.
Anyone know what i may have setup wrong?
My bro did the order form and nothing happened so he called Disney and they are sending him an envelope to send in his bad disc in order to get a new one.
When setting the PS3 video output should i select "custom" and pick 720p as the max resolution or select "automatic" where it will select 1080i as my max resolution? My tv is 1360x768 i'm not sure why my tv would accept 1080i through HDMI, can someone explain all this? Thanks.
I'm more surprised that 8 of the top 9 didn't sell atleast twice as many as BB considering 5 of them are animated and have a much bigger market to sell to.
I remember when BB came out it was right around the time Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes got together and the scientology thing. Wonder if people were turned off of BB because of that?
I have a Samsung LN-T3253H LCD HDTV (720p-native, 1360x768 PC) and a Philips DVP3960 HDMI upconvert dvd player. With the HDMI setting on the player set to 720p the picture has scan lines or something on it. The picture looks better with the HDMI set to 1080i. I switched out the HDMI cable for...
I'm not really impressed with 132 million considering how much ticket prices cost these days. Imagine what Spiderman or Titanic would have done at todays prices.
The Signature Theater here in Fresno is completely remodelling the concessions area. The old version was self serve with two aisles. How are the concessions at your local Signature? I'm wondering if they are going from self serve to full serve.
I hope its good. Burt Reynolds said he wouldn't do the movie unless it was good unlike Starsky and Hutch. They are already planning a sequel acoording to Jessica Simpson so they expect good things from this one.
M.C. Gainey is Roscoe P. Coltrane and Michael Weston is Enos according to http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0377818/. Other names are listed in the cast but doesn't mention who they play.
^^^1958 The Hollywood Reporter writes: With several remakes under his belt, producer Scott Rudin is turning his attention to the 1958 B-movie "The Blob" for Paramount Pictures. The Paramount-based producer whose recent credits include "The Manchurian Candidate" and "The Stepford Wives"...
Haven't seen the original, is it any good? I don't mind remakes if they are good. Now theres talk of doing remakes for "The Blob" and "Revenge Of The Nerds".
I just got a new 32" Sony Trinitron and just upgraded from S-Video to Component on my DVD player. I'm happy with it for now. I see Fox has the World Series broadcast in 720p, is that the current standard for all HD programming or just Fox? How many channels currently have HD and...
I edited my post, its actually the Picture adjustment thats maxed out when in Vivid mode, not the brightness. My Trinitron has Picture Brightness Color Hue Sharpness Color Temp (cool, neutral, warm) Clearedge (low, high, off) Can i get the Avia disc at places like Best Buy?
I have a 32" Trinitron. Is it bad to have the "picture" setting maxed out because thats what the factory setting is when in "vivid" mode? Standard mode knocks off about 1/3 of the "picture". Is "contrast" the same as "Hue"?
On a 30" widescreen, how big is the 4:3 picture without zooming, is it much less than a 27" tv? Don't you still get black bars on a widescreen tv just not as much?
I want this tv for my small bedroom- http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTE...e=tv_hdtv_tube I'm not getting HD programming for awhile yet but how does non HD programming look on a HDTV compared to an analog set? Is this tv compatible with the current DVD resolution? thanks in advance
