Did anyone notice David Swimmers name was in the opening credits? The list of producers/ co-producers and other credited staff just goes on and on. Reminds me of the "Too many cooks in the Kitchen" line.
Why would that surprise anyone. Smallville has turned into another WB "Charmed"...
I've owned Klipsch since 1988. I've used Carver to power the Klipsch and have been using the Rotel 1095 amp for just over three years. Both match well with the Klipsch. I recently traded a Sony DVP-9000ES player for a vintage McIntosh MA-5100 stereo integrated amp. It only 45wpc@8ohm. But...
I thought the strength of this weeks show was with how Clark showed a much more mature and independent investigative approach. He didn't ask Mom and Dad for their opinion. It was only after he followed his leeds that he felt it important to disclose anything to anyone. Of course there was the...
"Why don't you tell us how you really feel Darrel". :) OK, I will! :) "I dunno, but I just don't buy the actress that's Lois Lane". That because she can't act. Now, we have two women figures on the show in Clarks life that can't act. Lana and Lois. If you want to get a idea of what...
If this is what this season has to offer, then I saw. Tom Welling get the hell out while you can. I thought bringing Lois Lane to Smallville was a bad idea. And then to bring Lana back on top of it. Gee, with a story line to make her a mystic warrior goddess from the past. Or some other writers...
Dan,You can't blame Rotel for a short in Phills speakers. I've owned Rotel amps (1090 and 1095) for years and they have performed perfect for me. I use a surge protector (Monster 5000 line conditioner for the 1095 and VansEvers Reference line cleaner for the 1090). Sorry to hear of you loss...
The first five channel receiver I had was the Sony 30ES receiver. It had 80wpc@8ohm X 5 channels I think. Before that I had a Carver 2000 stereo receiver. It had 200wpc@8ohm. And used it with my Klipsch Forte speakers for many years. After I changed out the Carver to the Sony. I added a Klipsch...
I also got mine from GGs. You might call around a ask another local Loewe dealer. Being that your in L.A. I'd think there should be a few. And maybe at least one that has the balls to help. P.S. I purchased a extended warranty when I got my Loewe. If my set blows up in the next three years...
Have you ever had a 1080i signal to the Loewe before? How long have you had the Loewe? When you used a DVD hooked up to the Loewe via a VGA cable did you run Avia setup disk to check and calibrate the set. And see if anything weird showed up on the test patterns or color screens etc...
I would be interested in seeing your Loewe's sub menu settings. I can only think at this point that it's you Loewe set. You might contact your Loewe dealer. Or e-mail Loewe (which hasn't gotten me too far on questions to them) and ask about your problem? I've used a Comcast box on my set with a...
I always wondered why Clark never played with jumping? The only times I remember Clark jumping was while playing basketball with Pete. And his big leap of faith from the Daily Planet to the LutherCorp building. I mean, kids jump don't they? You would think when Clark was running around the farm...
Hi Darren, I've used the KD-CTCA2 transcoder box on my 30" Aconda. I think yours is just a slimline version of my transcoder box. The transcoder just passes the signal (480p or 1080i) and allows a VGA connection to your set. The Motorola set top box should be set at 1080i. The...
I wish every episode had the writing and drama of a season ending show. Come on Chloe dead?! Hasn't anyone seen the movie "Eraser"? It called bait and switch. ;) Chloe can now come back with a new identity. If Lex is poisoned and comes back from this near death. He can now think of himself...
Adam, If your spoiler is true. Then it sounds like WB may be working on a new series. IMO they haven't got this one right. So, I hope my gut feeling is wrong! I liked last weeks show a lot. This weeks show just drudged along. And the story line has all but run it course. I still think...
I picked mine up locally last Christmas and got one for just under $2500. And the dealer still made a good profit from the sale. Don't let a dealer tell you that he couldn't let one go for under $3000 and still make any profit. I know the dealers cost of the unit first hand.
My favorite line this year from any show was last night between Sally and Alan. Sally is coming on to Alan in his office. After Alan's speech about not becoming "Like Them". And Sally kisses Alan. Alan tell Sally that he is involved with someone. Sally asks if it's anyone she knows...
I've had the HS20 since Christmas. I've just passed 1000 hours on the unit. And I'm running it on a 106" dia. ($140) Draper white pull-down screen with a 10' meter ($30) NXG component cable. I'm still very impressed with the picture. Especially on HD material! There is some fan noise and...
You didn't mention your price range Jeb. I'm using a Draper 106" white Luma HDTV pulldown screen. I got it on-line for $140 plus shipping. It's one of the lower priced screen out. But, works well for me. I'm not selling mine. But, just thought I'd offer up a suggestion to you.
Someone on AVS posted that the key may have opened up a portal and traveled to Swan through the portal and then closed. That sounds interesting. Maybe Swans knowledge goes way beyond what we now know?
What kind of price are you getting the two unit for? I've owned the Stage One for just over a year now. It's a great 7 channel processor. Works flawlessly for me. And looks beautiful to boot. The only pieces I might consider other than my Stage One would be the Lexicon or Krells 7 channel...
