I have the Blu-ray disc released in 2009 and I have the DVD that came in a little faux leather jacket released in 2006. Because I was always disappointed in the video quality and somewhat the sound quality of those releases I skipped the two following blu-ray releases. I was going to skip this...
Thank you very much for the information. Especially the input on the near blank detail. Nice to know the upconversion has improvements also considering I watch a plenty of cable and OTA programming. I have an Amazon Echo so the "AI Voice Command" feature will come in handy. I had heard about the...
Hello @Robert_Zohn
How are those 2018 LG OLEDs looking after having a week to consider any improvements this year. I have a 2016 OLED E6 I'm seriously considering replacing in a couple of months hopefully if the prices drop a little. Being a 56 year old paralyzed from the neck down and on a...
Gotta say, I tried practicly every twitter app, (tweetdeck, twirl, natsulion, twitterrific, and several more) and found each lacking for me usage wise. But when machiest offered a free (limited) version of Eventbox a couple weeks ago I tried it and for me personally I liked it much better than...
I got mine and I think the transfer is amazing. I can clearly see an improvement in picture quality. As much as I've loved watching this movie many times in my life (never saw it in theaters though). I waited for the anamorphic transfer to SD DVD before buying it which I bought. Now owning and...
Blogtv uses flash for live video broadcast and chat window (kinda like ustream live I guess). I can do live video from my macbookpro's built-in iSight just fine. I can talk to the people in chat through my built-in mic ONLY just fine, OR I can also play music for them to hear from iTunes ONLY...
Well, I caved and ordered this set anyhow. Non of my 4 dvd players zoom non-anamorphic dvd's and my plasma doesn't either so I won't be doing any back-to-back episode viewing anytime soon unless some of my gear changes allowing zooming. I'll have to tough it out.
Alright. I take back what I said about the Catharine Tate as a companion. I re-watched "The Doctor's Daughter" again and like her much better in it and all previous episode. Liked her in "The Unicorn and the Wasp" also. Was nice seeing "Felicity Kendal" in something again. Always loved watching...
I don't dislike Donna. She's been great in the show. Just something lacking about her personality. Can't put my finger on it. As for companions attraction to the Doctor, I see it but totally dismiss (ignore) it as a whole not letting it affect my involvement in the stories.
I didn't spot a Rose mention either. I hope we see the Doctors daughter again. I liked her. As for Donna, I just can't warm up to Catharine Tate as a companion like I did with Rose or Martha.
Hehehe, got my VOL 2 in the mail today (Three boxes to be precise for me and my two boys). Pre-ordered mine in March from Amazon for 16.99 each + free S&H. :D
Just in case nobody noticed. Disney started airing "Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends" again weekdays at 8 pm EST on Toon Disney beginning last night May 13.
I don't see the words "matted" or "letterboxed" on the box art so it must be in 4:3 format. As for that being it's "Original Television Exhibition" is inaccurate. It aired in a widescreen letterbox format. It may have produced in 4:3 format but then it aired matted in a widescreen letterbox...
Thanks Christ. I'm trying the Fusion beta out. Imported my Parallels WinXP SP1 VM to fusion. I like Fusion about equally so far. But Switching out of fullscreen in Parallels is tricky. Have to hit Ctrl+Enter 2 or 3 times to exit fullscreen. Fusion has no problem exiting fullscreen. Parallels XP...
Yep I knew the Canadian releases were from the VHS releases. But the Phenix Saga is my fav X-Men story arc and The Mutant Agenda is my fav Spider-man story arc (followed closely by the Sins of the Father arc). Still, if Disney stopped airing Marvel cartoons when the rights issue arose and now...
