What bells & whistles does the Sony have on this model over your Philips? What do you guys think of this Samsung compared to the Sony mentioned in this thread: http://www.circuitcity.com/detail.js...&oid=71060&m=0 ?
Hmm... I think people can speak with a heavier dialect to people from their own region (in Y Tu Mama Tambien, they are speaking a thick & vulgar Chilango dialect), while speaking in a more regularized speech to people from outside their own region. In Spanish, I would say it's no different...
We stayed at Esperanza, pretty pricey. If you want something more affordable, stay at the Westin Regina. My wife recommends it highly. Things to do... first rent a car. You'll need it to get around. For shopping I recommend San Jose Del Cabo over Cabo San Lucas. It's more relaxed and less...
Those screens are being rendered at a resolution higher than 480p. I'm guessing they use the graphics engine but not "in-game" graphics and are outputting it from the dev kit.
Since you are saying "next year's", I'm assuming you can pick your date. You live in Washington, so if you want to get away from your mild winter (Minnesota guy here), I guess Janruary would be a good time. Just try and avoid Spring Break which is in March I believe. Do you mean "best time of...
Another thing is when you plan on going. If it's July - October, you might want to stay way from Cancun just because of the inclement weather. After reading your post, it sounds like Playa Del Carmen would be perfect for you, or Los Cabos too. Don't let the Spring Break crap scare you away...
The difference between PlayaCar and Cabo is huge. Cabo is like a desert on the ocean. It's not the least bit tropical. Lots of rocky shores and stunning views. The golfing is EXCELLENT. If you are a big golfer and you want to do that on your trip, the choice is clear. Playa, which I recommend...
Well a Xmas release is nice. I wish they got these out tri-yearly or even quarterly. Would be nice not to have to wait 3 years to get up to season six.
I have no doubt Fox will not bail on this series, especially with Mike Judge behind it. Although it doesn't seem to be doing especially well Online, I think the mass DVD buyer base is at B&M stores and it was flying off the local Walmart and Best Buy shelves.
No one else worried about Babe Pig in the City getting a new transfer or getting the shaft on extras? Sure it bombed at the box office, but it got great reviews and has found something of a cult following.
Cassy, I somehow doubt PTA told them to make all the extras except one of the trailers non-anamorphic. Notice that the Newline release of Boogie Nights & Magnolia have all extras as anamorphic (when appropriate, ie, not the documentaries that are 4x3). Seems to me that Newline let PTA...
Here's something to complain about on this disc that's valid: The non-anamorphic extras (except for only one of the movie trailers). Weak, weak, weak... Thanks Sony.
I don't think Hank is a redneck either. He's mild-mannered. Actually the early Hank was a pretty hot-tempered (I believe he was a spinoff of Wilson from B&B who was always mad), but he has definitely transformed into a sensible, nice guy.
Shane, couldn't find a review on your site to get the in-depth stuff on the set. Also your site is a bit wider than 800x600 resolution, just a head's up.
Hi Brett, Thanks for the opinion! I'll definitely take it into consideration. I was leaning towards the Onkyo because of all the reviews I read on bang for its back. A review I saw of the HC6 complained about loss of detail when the volume goes up. The problem might be the enthusiastic...
I can get them for about the same price point so just wondering which one is considered better for movies? Sorta leaning toward the Onkyo but interested in opinions for either one. Thanks AR HC6 http://www.bestbuy.com/detail.asp?e=...cat=15&scat=23 Onkyo SKS-HT500...
