You know what? I think Conan made a mistake leaving. He should have stayed even at 12:05. It's NBC's problem. let them worry about that. He should have continued until they fired him. He shouldn't have walked away. That's what they wanted.

I have another question. I remember clearly James Cameron saying that editing in 3D is different than editing in 2D. For 3D you have to cut scenes in a way that doesn't cause eye strain.
So, is the 3D cut of Avatar different than the 2D cut?
I think Gervais was hilarious. I never laughed this much from an award presenter.
What was with Harrison Ford? I saw the After Party and he couldn't speak. Is he sick?
Lots of surprises. Many movies won that I didn't think they deserved. UP, Avatar, Hangover. "500 Days of Summer" deserved to...
I also saw this and think it was an excellent movie. However I don't feel like owning this. It's an example of where an excellent movie doesn't necessarily mean a blind buy!
Wow it's 10 years already? We are getting old. No special event organized by the Lucasfilm for the tenth anniversary? Aren't you going to celebrate the anniversary? /img/vbsmilies/htf/wink.gif
I saw it today in Digital 3D. I give it 9/10. It is groundbreaking and truly immersive. I was surprised how seamless the effects were and note to special effects directors, you don't have to sacrifice story and acting because there are a lot of complicated effects, that's just an excuse. A...
Man when I replied I didn't realize it's old, I thought it's from 2009! I was searching for CSI threads. I'm not very comfortable with the new search feature.
I love Frasier and have it on DVD but does anybody else also think that Frasier had miscast supporting characters as well?
I think Jane Leeves and Peri Gilpin were never funny actors. They had great parts written for them but they just didn't have it in them, but the show worked!
Of course it’s unrealistic. The success of the show is that it’s a freak show and that’s why I love it and watch it. If it was a realistic show it would be doll and I wouldn’t watch it. If it was realistic you would see them in plastic cloths from head to toe when examining crime scenes!
I got this last week and was going to watch it tonight. I thought entering Play it will give me the option to play the Theatrical or the Unrated like any other normal release but the movie started automatically with no choice. Thinking it must be the Unrated by default I watched a little before...
Today I had the opportunity of getting both the US or the French Bluray. I finally got the French BD which I normally don't. On the back cover of the French BD it said it included 11 extra documentaries which I didn't see on the US cover. If anyone has the US BD, could you please check if it has...
I greatly enjoyed the Director's Cut and I'm considering to own it. Is this new version good? I'm afraid to blind buy it and it turn out an inferior movie. Just because it has more footage it doesn't mean it's better. Does this set include the Director's Cut also?
Edit: Talking about the...
As I said I’m reading the Making of Star Wars book and I’m near the end. It’s amazing what they did and how much pain ILM suffered to make those revolutionary effects. When you read this book it’s more obvious that it’s necessary to preserve this original version. It’s history, plain and simple.
