I was watching last nights episode and during the "Wizard of OZ" reading, I thought to myself, "wow, this show has turned a corner". It was really good. I was truly involved in all of the flashbacks. Makes me hopeful for T4.
I also really enjoyed this aspect of the film. It was really against the formula of action films. I told a buddy of mine that if I saw a guy kill 5 dudes with a bow in 10 seconds, he's welcome to tell me whatever and I'll follow him wherever he goes.
First half was pretty good and interesting. The second half you could almost see the extras looking at their watches like "hurry up so we can get out of here". The last 30 minutes felt so rushed and contrived. Shame. I really wished they would have stuck to the original movie plot more...
I sort of feel bad for these Chefs since the last 2 episodes should have been called "Top Caterer" and not "Top Chef". It's not really fair to these folks who are executive chefs and line cooks who are used to putting hot food out to customers within a couple of minutes of being cooked suddenly...
Chalk me up to the "hate Ford love Ronan" crowd. Ronan is fast becoming my favorite character behind McKay. So the Midway episode was one of my favorites.
I told my wife half way through the show that I'd like to take the producers out back and kick them all in the crotch. They completely missed what the show is about. Then they "tried" to kick it up a notch. You can almost see the developer meetings.... "Let's make the FBI agent a hot lesbian"...
I think its safe to say that this move will be the movie to set the bar for CGI for a while, kind of like Jurassic Park did in the 90's. Best movie I've seen as far as sheer eye candy in a very long time. At one point I leaned over to my buddy and said, "I never get tired of seeing the...
Yeah, you would think they could have at least edited out the mountains and desert landscape, even if they couldn't afford external shots. Everytime I see a mountain in the background it reminds me of the good old days of the A-team when they would be in Florida and the mountains were in the...
It takes any input and scales it to its native resolution of 1080p. When they say "Supports 1080p" it means the set will take a 1080p input (PS3 over HDMI) and will pass it as 1080p. DVD looks great but I am using an OPPO DV981HD upscaling player and outputting 1080p on mine. The Wii looks...
