I have a quick question regarding the color changes. I noticed that the first 2-Disc DVD set had some pretty big color changes from my Criterion, for example- when Laurie walks out of her house to have Annie pick her up (with pumpkin). On the Criterion disc, the color of the scene is an...
We really appreciate your constructive input into the subject! :rolleyes
Anyway, the episode that I really never tire of watching is "The One Where Nobody's Ready". It easily contains most of my all time favorite moments!

This review contains SPOILERS Halloween: Resurrection (2002) * * * John Carpenter’s original film will always be regarded as a cinematic classic. Which makes one wonder how the eight installment in the franchise could be any good at all. In truth, however, Halloween: Resurrection comes...
Brian, I can't directly burn quicktime to CD unless it is converted to either of the other formats. Luckily, I found a way to convert it. Worked real well!

I would really appreciate it if someone here could convert this trailer to either AVI or preferably MPEG and send it to me via email!
Thanks!

What happened? I remember the buzz awhile back saying there were going to be major changes to the film, especially the romance. These were spoken by people who were actually working on the project. Did they decide to not do it?
Great thread! Here's my top 5. 1.OHMSS 2.Octopussy 3.World Is Not Enough 4.Thunderball 5.Goldfinger While I liked Tomorrow Never Dies very much, it had almost too much action for my tastes. I prefer TWINE because of the drama inherent in the film.
What, so it's ok that people can bash Pearl Harbor and not LOTR? Sorry! I don't let people's opinions get in the way of what I think of a movie. If 99% of the population thought Pearl Harbor was horrible, I could care less. I myself thought it was a good movie.
Silent night..........I said a silent night
I can't remember....if I cried....when I read about his widowed bride....but something touched me deep...inside ...the day....the music...died.
Simon: It just did.
Thanks for the information. I could've sworn that it only converted certain quicktime files, but I guess I was mistaken. I'm sorry if I offended anyone or caused any riffs here. I didn't purposely seek out the serial number, I just happended to stumble upon it on a message board and tried it out...
Even if I did buy the full version, it's not guaranteed to convert every quicktime file. I've heard stories of people buying it and it not even working with their files. It's a shot in the dark.
It's ridiculous to have to go through all of this, and it's stupid to pay $30 for what little extra you actually get, even if it is the conversion. They're trailers for crying out loud! It shouldn't' be this difficult.
Travis, I found the serial number online to turn it into the Pro edition, but it doesn't seem to work. What's the complicated way to saving them to the hard drive?
Thanks guys. Now my only problem is saving the Quicktime trailers onto my hard drive. Does anyone know how to do this, since apple won't let you manually save them? Thanks!
I'm at a dead end, and if anyone here could help me out, I would be extremely grateful! For a week I've been trying to convert quicktime trailers into mpeg to burn to VCD, but every attempt has failed. Would it be possible for someone here to convert the trailers for me and send me the MPEG...
"Yes, this is the reason that Tim Burton sucks. A couple of his movies are good, but he as a person sucks. For the record, I state: Tim Burton sucks!"
First off, you don't even KNOW Tim Burton! You can't even begin to say that "as a person he sucks", because you've never met him! Oh, I...
I recently purchased a Pioneer 56 inch RPTV Widescreen set. For the past several years, I've watched DVD's on a mediocre 27 inch set. Both were calibrated with Video Essentials. The problem is, compared to my previous set, DVD's don't look as breathtaking in color and clarity. On the 27 inch...
According to page 3 of Total DVD magazine, Halloween H20 is coming to UK DVD in October. It will contain an anamorphic transfer and a commentary by Steve Miner that was promised on the US version. Can anyone confirm this?
Last time I talked with Columbia exec. Michael Stradford he claimed that the DVD didn't sell as well as they thought. So a special edition would not be forthcoming for awhile. He did however mention that they are trying to come up with the lost footage. Does anyone know if the NBC extended...
I know I posted a little hastily. It's not really about your comments, Jason. I've read too many stupid and immature comments made about this movie (not in this thread) from people who obviously want to join the band wagon and think it's cool to Ape-Bash. I almost didn't see this film due to all...
Give me a break. I've followed all of these arguements since the movie came out, and when will some of you face the facts that everyone has there own opinion, even if it doesn't agree with yours?
I happen to LOVE the new Apes movie, and I think it is more entertaining then the 1968 version. By...
I have a rare 35mm trailer and I would like to get it transfered to either VHS or DVD (preferably DVD, but it may be too expensive). Does anyone know where I can get this done at?
Thanks!
