Another thought came to mind after I sent the last message, so I'll just throw it out in a new post. I would encourage the coworker or Mark to visit the store again and ask to speak to the manager to hear his side of the incident and allow him to give you an apology should you not be satisfied...
I guess I don't see the problem with the use of video cameras. I've become accustomed to them in the places I shop or spend recreation time. Am I missing something?
That pretty much sums it up. Except that the large majority of the customers understand the policy, and only a small number of them won't. You can't please everyone all the time. If the original poster or coworker should decide to write a letter to the owner or corporate office, I would hope...
As the original poster stated, the manager wasn't in the store, he accessed the cameras from his home, not a closet. The simple fact is, unless the owner or manager works every single hour the store is open, security cameras provide information on what the employees are doing when they aren't...
As a store owner of a competitor of CSC, I get a good chuckle when I see them get dragged through the mud. That being said, if they use similar flavorings and chocolates in their ice cream that we use, it gets expensive. Pure vanilla extract from Madagascar was over $100 a gallon on my last...
Jay, those could be spikes to prevent pigeons from roosting on the roof. I have some installed along some decorative pieces under the roof for that same purpose.
I just had my furnace replaced last week with a Lennox model G50UH, which is the single stage unit for roughly $3200 with humidifier. I say roughly because I haven't received the final bill. They tried to sell me on the elite, but I plan on moving within the next couple years so I didn't think...
I like the Monte Carlo. Good room rates, and a short walk to MGM, Ceasar's Palace, NYNY, Excalibur, etc. If you want to shop, don't forget the Forum Shops at Ceasar's, Bellagio also has some upscale shopping. I always get dragged into Tiffany's with my gf, so far I've escaped with no major...
While I enjoyed Delmonico's on my trip in February, I tried Blackstone's Steakhouse at the Monte Carlo on my trip in November and enjoyed it much more than Delmonico's. What floors me though is the LV locals voted Outback steakhouse the best steakhouse in Las Vegas according to their daily rag...
No prob Wayne. If I could just figure out the SEC, I just might be able to take your crown this year.:D Let the season begin, it seems like it's been forever since Ohio State won the NC. Fluke!
In Nebraska, the rumor mill runs 24/7 every day of the year when it comes to Husker football. Solich is indeed on the hot seat this year. Another 7-7 season and I would expect a new head coach next year.
Let the season begin. I've created a pickem group on Espn.com for the upcoming college football season. The group name is HomeTheaterForum and the password is OAR. If you want to join up, goto espn.com click on fantasy, then college football pickem, then do a search for HomeTheaterForum, and...
We're not that bad Dave. Superior level of humanity? :rolleyes:It was a heck of alot worse in the mid 90's when everyone was jumping on the bandwagon after the back to back NC's. The biggest problem Solich has to deal with now is recruiting. He's not a big name like Osborne was, and he fired...
What you need to do is contact your local wage & hour office regarding the back pay. I'm not sure if that's the name they use in your area, but they will check with the owners of the company for you. Do you have any proof of the hours you worked? Timecard, etc? Withholding money earned before...
I went with door number two. I've got the repeater stashed in a cabinet with the audio equip in the basement and the receiver on my deck off the second floor. Works well and much easier and cheaper than an inwall controller.
Texas Tech does the impossible and puts me in second place for the week. :) Can they do it again next week against a much better defense? Can Michigan beat Ohio State? The signs of the Apocalypse are upon us, the Huskers are 7-5, the Seminoles are 8-3 and IOWA is 11-1! :D
What a great season...
Another great show! ALthough I'm a bit miffed they offed Ralphie. He's played such a major role the last two seasons, it was a shocker to see it . Fitting in a way though that Tony took care of him, it would have been a let down if anyone else had done it.
Hehe, love the "hands down"...
I don't know the video rental business, but I can offer some advice on running a small business. As they say, location, location, location. Pick a couple locations with lots of traffic and easy accessibility, and spend some time watching how many people shop in those areas. Talk to the...
No way. Ain't gonna happen. Nebraska has to play Texas A&M(away game, guaranteed loss, 5 straight roadgame losses) Texas, K-State, Colorado, and Kansas. Of the above, I see only one win, possibly 2 if Simms chokes, which ain't likely considering he only seems to choke against top ten teams.:D...
Bwahahaha! I begin my move to the top of the leaderboard. :)
In other news, the Huskers are once again heroes in the state of Nebraska after drubbing the mighty McNeese State, while giving up 2 TD's to a I-AA program. Solich is a savior, QB Jamaal Lord is the second coming, and all is well...
Yeah, I took Iowa State. There's a difference between rooting for your team and making the logical choice. :)
Jamaal Lord looks confused, the running back hasn't had a 100 yard game in the last 6 games, and an offense that is unable to come back from large margins will not instill confidence...
I'm still kicking myself over the CU-CSU game. I had CSU earlier in the week but switched on Friday. CSU has owned the Buffs the last 4 out of 5 games, but I chickened out
while remembering the shellacking the Buffs gave the Huskers last year. Is Northwestern THAT bad?!? Jeez.
La Tech is a...
How about this?

I'm still deciding between using the above or just making the shelves shorter in the back. I've got 24" of depth to work with and I'm leaning towards less depth to save on materials.
