"Anyone else get a ring with their purchase today? I did, and I think it's pretty cool." Received an 8-pack box of popcorn & a 10-pack of batteries with my purchase. The latter will keep my wife happy while I'm watching the movie :) Pete
Assarosa is definitely a Trump plant to see how Kwame deals with out-of-line employees. He's failing the test in my eyes. Like someone had stated earlier I'd make her a waterboy, or even better stick her in a Kennel so she can be next too kin! Pete
Must be a big difference between Canada & America on what is watched at bachelor parties. In America, Princess LayYa would be using the Force on Hand Solo's lightsaber :)

Don't waste your time. Your basically taking a small color TV, flipping it upside & putting some kind of magnifying panel in front of it. What you end up is a 100" blur!

HANDS ON A HARD BODY
Amazon Description: How far would you go for a brand-new, fully loaded pickup truck? Would you go as far as the 23 contestants in Hands on a Hard Body, who entered a contest in which the last one standing with his or her hand on the car drove off with it?

Flattered to be your hero Steve, but like your dream to load Spam on C-130's I also was an enlisted troop who's ultimate goal was to get those pilots back from their missions safely. I was a Life Support Specialist responsible for all the flight equipment they wear, such as their Anti-G Suit...
Thought it was a great show & can't wait for the continuation. Any idea when part 2 is on? I'm a little biased though since I've worked with a few of the featured pilots during my assignment at the USAF Fighter Weapons School.

Tell your friend to make sure it is a progressive DVD player. Their not much more money than non-progressive players and even if she doesn't have a progressive display device (HDTV, projector, etc.) the player won't be obselete if she finally does upgrade. Highly recommend either the Panasonic...
You need to answer a few questions before we can offer any advice:
1. What's your room size?
2. Do you have light control?
3. Do you plan on viewing regular television as well as DVD's, LD's, etc. and what percentage of the time?
I'm sure you meant Front Projector vs. Rear Projector?

ReplayTV, DVD Player, VCR, Receiver and Center Channel speaker all in a home-made rack sitting on top of my 50" Tosh RPTV. I'm waiting for it to collapse one day but so far 8 months of stability. The LCD's don't bother or distract me at all. Maybe the backlight helps?
Pete
Ignore the inwall speakers & caddy-corner a 57" RPTV in the top left corner. This way you'll also have a good view from your kitchen counter. Your willing to spend the bucks so get a 5.1 speaker setup and when you eventually get your home theater room you can get a FPTV and relocate the surround...

I think you've already reached the same conclusion that most users have. Get the new Tosh 57 or 65H81. Meets your price range and is even better than last years model!
