There will the small group of got to have it types. But my read at the present HDDVD will be only for the Laser Disk type fans. The VHS group will stick to DVD. The fact the SD DVD has got this far this fast is a wonder. I went from VHS to DVD as soon as they came out. But not too interested in...
I have used DVD Profiler on my PC for past 3 years or more. But need something for the PDA to DVD shop. Anyone with a collection will make the dupe mistake. I use VideoList Plus on my Sony PDA. Which is a clean list program. One day DVD Profiler will get the message and have a PDA program too...
The movies I buy must meet the following: OARS, Decent transfer and will I watch it again. If not, then its a renter. But I rent only OARS. I find the more movies you have the more picky one gets. Not like the old days, any DVD Movie would do.

I have been consistent for 3 years. I do not and will not buy or rent pan & scan movies on DVD. Heck if I really need it. Just go back to my VHS collection. ;)

Got stung. I was in rush today and picked up JPIII with checking. Took off the the wrap and even fill out the forms before realizing it was the lousy P&S. This is total BS.
Yes! Went to Costco in Victoria and the Sample Lady was giving out these free DVD cereal taste samples. So I ask her for the DVD's and she said she didn't have a DVD player so I could have them. Cool!
