Saw it last night.
I absolutely, honestly and unabashedly loved this movie. It had me from start to finish and wouldn't let go.
I don't see it as a "course-correction." I see it as a sequel. One might as well call ROTJ a "course-correction" to ESB.
This movie actually makes TFA and TLJ better...
I got mine this afternoon! No box damage, all discs look pristine, and the booklets... hell, they are complete bloody books... that accompany each season are amazing. The whole set smells like a new car. Looking forward to sinking my eyes, ears and dancing teeth into this monster asap.
I just saw that! Great news, actually. I'd rather wait an extra month and get all the goods:
Here is the email I got from Network Distributing:
Dear customer,
First, some slightly not-so-good-news - we’re really sorry that we have had to delay the release date of the magnificent box set...
I just ordered mine! No problems with the site.
Also, here's The Digital Bits story about it:

The only episode that is edited is "Our Finest Hour," which is only available as a messy syndication cut. Welcome to Korea, Bug Out and Fade Out, Fade In are shown as 50 minute episodes on the DVD, not cut into 2 parts. Goodbye Radar is shown in 2 parts, but that is how it was originally...
More info, this time from Network Distributing's Facebook page:

Some of the questions and answers are interesting, although they do not bring up the concerts Andy McKinney mentioned above.
This just in:

Network Distributing will release all 45 episodes of "Monty Python’s Flying Circus", on Blu-ray and DVD, fully restored for the first time ever. Each episode has...
Alive From Off Center from PBS. Amazing stuff and crazy shorts and animations from the 80's and 90's. Laurie Anderson hosted it for a couple of seasons.
I know. Very sad. I saw them live at the O2 Arena in London in 2014. Even back then, I could see that Jones was the only one using a script or prompter during the show. :(
And now another find:
In the "Summarize Proust" bit, Chapman's line "strangling animals, golf and masturbating" is there, unlike on the DVD.
Yet other things are still cut, like "cancer" and Gilliam's animation of the crucifixes connected by telephone lines.
And now for something completely random...
The last 2 minutes of Monty Python's Flying Circus Season 3 Episode 12 "A Book at Bedtime" is on the Netflix stream, but not on the A&E DVD set:

They are the same as the 16 Ton set, only to me the picture quality isn't quite as good as watching the DVD. Looks like they simply ripped the DVDs for the Netflix stream.
This website http://jabootu.net/?page_id=12829 used to have a drop dead hilarious review of E2. I've seldom laughed so hard at a movie review before in my life. Unfortunately, the review seems to have been deleted, but I remember the writer's description of Burton's "sweating and staring"...
