Canada gets some good candy and potato chips

The sweets we get in the US aren't very good at all. The UK has the best, Canada has good ones, NZ and Oz are great too. The US thinks everything must contain peanut buttter, YUCK.

What the most humane way to euthanize a fish?

I have had to kill a few fish too. I put them in a big bowl of water with ice cubes, it slows their system down, then eventually stops it. At this point they are not dead, just stopped. I saw on tv where they fedex injured fish in dry ice, they can last like that suspended for a few days. Then...

Cat Food for urinary blockage (crystals)

Dry food is better for your cat than canned food, as it has a lower solid waste content such as ash that gets hard and shortens the life. It creates stones inside. One of the best foods you can give to cats is meat baby food. Ours love it.

    Missing cat

I wish you the best in getting him back. Cats are quite smart, if he looked out the window a lot, he'll proberbly have some idea where he is. We lost a cat once, found it a few miles away in a pub.

Paying by credit card and signing that electronic gizmo.

I have noticed that if I'm in the middle of nowhere in California or Nevada, its still pump then pay. If you get to Oregon, its don't touch that pump ever . . unless you're on a motorcycle, crazy laws there.

Paying by credit card and signing that electronic gizmo.

If a shop asks to see your ID when you use a CC, you can refuse. You do not have to show your ID. If the shop requests that, complain. Here in California they ask for my ID 80% of the time, in Ohio/PA, I could lend my CC to someone, they'd never check for ID. Must be all the illegals here.

    canon s70

The s70/s60/s50 are all great cameras. The new s70 has a nice wide lens. The s series also all have built in lens covers, the G series need the lens cap, but apart from that they're very similar. The shutter lag on these two series is very good. I have the s40 and 10D.

    How Long Is Your Commute?

55 miles eachway, 99% freeway. Lane splitting on the LA freeways really helps, some days it cuts over 2 hours off the commute if done by car.

    Amaizing Sirus Deal!!!

The Sirius dance channels recently got much better. I like channels 62/63/66 now. Although I miss the Planet Trance programme that was on Plant Dance for my Friday night ride home, kept me awake! Channel 13 (Elvis Radio) is actually very good. I hardly ever use any OTA repeaters, its...

I've fallen in love with a pit bull

Rain, I think its absolutly super that you're adopting a dog from a shelter. BUT you have other animals, you do NOT mix pit bulls with other small animals, other small children. I think you're making a huge mistake, and it isn't you who is going to pay for this mistake, it is your other...

They shouldn't have to wear visors, nor should they have to wear helmets, they should be free to decide.

    How do I lay a 220V line?

Electrical work is pretty easy, but you have to follow basic safety rules. Daniel, it looks like you don't really know about electrical wiring in the house, it really is best that you leave it to a qualified electrician, especially since if you do this one wrong it can kill you.

    Hyphenated names--they must be stopped

The only thing worse than hyphenated names is the: Sam Jones IV or Sam Jones Sr Parents, please give your children their own identity. I a have worked with people who have ALL three names of their father. These fathers must have one BIG ego. The surname is enought. Thanks... :)

The PBS Pledge Drive: Might there be a better way?

That silly Your Money with Suze Orman show is on a LOT. PBS and NPR should get more taxes, then they shouldn't have to do this. Aswell as combining the local PBS stations together, like a common network to reduce costs.
