Sorry Paulie but I couldn't disagree with you more. I thought she was wonderful in this film. Also, of the six Friends' actors, I think Jennifer has risen above the other five. I think she can and will make it as a big screen actress. This film was a step in the right direction. Robert
The series began 8 years with a terrific pilot episode that strongly suggested Ross and Rachel would be together. That's how the show began, that's how it should end. After all these years of R&R's ups and downs, anything else would be a huge disappointment in my opinion. Robert
I agree with several posters here, it is time for Friends to win for best comedy. It deserves it. After 8 years, when most shows are fading, Friends got stronger this year. It's been overlooked for years by the voters but now it's time. Jennifer Aniston is also my pick for best actress. She was...
I also hope they fix this disc. This disc has the worst menus I have ever seen. That and the glaring lip sync issues make this disc very tough to enjoy. It's a shame because it's a terrific performance. This disc is not even a year old so maybe the changes are the result of complaints.

^^^ Bumped up to sweeten the deal a little. I will throw in the Titanic DTS laserdisc for no extra charge. Last call before I go to ebay.
Thank you.

I never thought I would sell this baby but I guess the time has come. I have for sale a Pioneer Elite laserdisc player model CLD95. Player is in excellent condition and has been very well cared for. This model is just a step below the well known CLD97 and CLD99. My player has the AC3 upgrade...
This may not help you much but I have the same speaker system and a Denon 3300. They go together great. I would lean towards either of your Denon choices.

I haven't used my turntable much over the last few years but after reading this thread, I decided to give it a spin. It's nothing fancy. It's an old Technics model SL-QD35. It has an old Audio Technica cartridge model TR485U. The stylus really doesn't have a lot of hours on it but it's probably...
I live in Philadelphia and I had the same problem. The Dolby Digital logo in this case is entirely misleading. I asked Comcast for a newer box with the S-video and Dolby Digital outs but they said they didn't have any.
I hated their digital box. Entirely too slow to change channels. Drove me...
Thanks Jeff for the offer but I won't be able to make it. I would like to know if 57 ever responds to you though. Does November sweeps month also apply to UPN? If so, they can't be pleased about being bumped in a major market.
Thanks,
Robert
And FYI for those in the Philadelphia area, this episode will not be shown in Philly until the following Saturday. UPN 57 is pre-empting it for a Flyers game. This makes two weeks in a row Buffy has been delayed in Philly. Last week it was delayed for 2 hours.
The finale has not been filmed. If anything, she was talking about the 7th season finale. This is the 8th season. They have only aired 4 episodes so far and filmed about 8 of them.
Robert
As a loyal fan since the beginning, I would buy them in a heartbeat. I have every single episode on tape. IMHO these episodes are definately "rewatchable".
Robert
I liked it too. I thought some of the episode seemed unnecessary such as Phoebe talking about James Brolin being the father of her baby. However, the final scene with Rachel taking a second pregnancy test more than made up for the rest of the episode. Jennifer Aniston was brilliant here. 7.5 out...
While likely the final season, it does look like it could be a very good one. I believe that this season will belong to Ross and Rachel. They started it all. Their characters and their fans deserve this. I don't buy this jump the shark nonsense. While the show has definately had its ups and...
I care and I definitely want them back together. Ross and Rachel were the hook back in the very first episode seven years ago. Grab a spoon anybody? Now the show is likely entering it's final season. They deserve to be together. Most fans still desperately want it. Check out a few Friends...
I'm in. I love this movie. Last year, a video store near me was having a huge closeout sale on VHS tapes. Yeah, I know VHS. But, I happened to pick up a copy of Terror Train in widescreen VHS!!! I couldn't resist. I've never even watched the tape, but now after reading this thread, I'm gonna...
Thanks for the info. It certainly wouldn't stop me from buying it. My Panasnic A120 doesn't have it either, but it just boggles my mind that Panasonic continues to be the only manufacturer that excludes this very basic feature.
Robert
Tony,
I've also been considering this model. Does this model include a time remaining function for DVDs? Most if not all of Panasonic's previous models have always excluded the time remaining feature for DVDs. Just Wondering.
Thanks,
Robert

Just got mine from DVD Empire. It's the new version. As others have mentioned, it was opened and then shrink wrapped. Fine by me. Thank you DVD Empire for making the effort to see customers get the correct version. Thanks to everyone in this forum, because without you I would have never known...
Just to correct my previous post, Radio shack does not carry the Sima switcher. They carry a Sony model I've been considering. Model SB-V66S. (cat# 930-0644). The Sony does not convert composite to S-video anyway. I've been looking at both lately and got them mixed up. Sorry.
Vin's suggestion...
Well this may be more than your friend wants to spend but the Sima SVS-4 will do the trick. It's nearly impossible to find in stores but several mail order companies carry it. Crutchfield has it. Radio Shack can special order it. (RSU#11936325). Price is $150 from both places. Camera World also...
