About 3 months old! Near perfect condition. Original owner, and 3 year service contract from Conns. If you are in the Houston area and can come to the Meyerland area to pick this baby up (bring at least 2 strong friends) you will get a great deal on a great television. I must sell it, as I will...
I will second the recommendation of the Sim Audio Processor (it's basically an EAD Signature with some modifications - sonically, second to none). The Sim Audio amp is, no doubt, fantastic, but I would mate the processor with a Theta amplifier. Theta amplifiers are the best amps I've heard.
Uh, Patrick Sun, just because someone has a different point of view than you doesn't make him a troll. The criticisms regarding my lack of elaboration are certainly legitimate and I will address them this weekend in detail, but I have a very limited amount of time this week to spend on the...
125 pages of discussion? For this utterly terrible movie? I guess it might take that long to figure out what went wrong. Easily summarized in one word: "everything". Thanks, Lucas, for helping me grow up. Like I said in another thread, exiting this movie, I find myself with an attic full of Star...
I haven't read all the posts in this thread (I don't have hours here) but I'll add my $0.02. This movie sucked. It sucked hard. All the magic is gone. Most of it left after Empire Strikes Back.
The first 3/4 of this movie are so badly written and acted that I would rather watch a Dawson's...
Well, Classe' is definitely a league or two above Anthem. I've had products from both. I had the Theta Intrepid (smaller, less powerful version of the dreadnaught) but had to sell it because I need the money for law school and won't have room for a home-theater (one 250 square foot NYC apt...
There's a very good, albeit expensive, greatest available as an import. It even has a bonus cd of some live performances. It's called "Best of: Tried and True". I love it. Here's the copy:
17 track hits collection with all of the beloved singer/ songwriter's finest, including the top five...
Having heard all of these amps, I much prefer the Dreadnaught for its way with music. But, if you can get any of them for a lot cheaper than the others, get that one.
"Or do I move the Bostons upstairs and buy a whole new 5.1 set for the HT?"
Did I misunderstand this?
The Totem set I believe is around $1500 or so - I am sure you can track down the information on the web somewhere.
"They don't make one small enough"
In light of the negative correlation in mammals between head size and intelligence I feel I must, in consideration, thank you for the compliment.
They do look similar, in that they are both exceedingly ugly. Clearly, however, they are not identical. A lot of e-breath has been wasted on a topic that is obviously pure speculation. It's what they sound like that's important anyway, right? And as John pointed out, that is entirely a function...
No, you are not the only one. I don't care about them either. It elicits amusement from me anytime someone says they're not buying a dvd because it is a barebones release, even though they love the movie. OK.
By, the way, to those people attempting to perform a language lesson - do you think...
Well, as one who detests reality television, I was surprised to find myself hooked on this show. Yes, it's pathetic. Yes, it's demeaning to women (although they asked for it). Yes, it's friggin' hilarious. I think he made the only feasible choice here. Shannon, as the poster above points out, is...
"$30 for a Todd Rundgren Anthology import CD"
I spent ~$40 for a Japanese import of Todd Rundgren's Something/Anything 20-bit remaster. Don't regret it one bit.
Also, close to that same amount for Japanese imports of Pink Floyd's Meddle and Piper at the Gates of Dawn. Don't regret those either.
I really enjoyed this one. It successfully does what most other movies of it's ilk have not - it perfectly captures that moment of adolescence where you have one foot in the past (childhood) and one in the future (adult). It's a heartbraking transition for everyone, I think. This, along with...
Yes, Brad Pitt. I disliked him immensely until I saw Fight Club. Then I thought he was ok. Then I saw Snatch. Yes, I must admit the guy is good, and this despite my instinctive dislike for pretty boys.
It is clear that I am at odds with a lot of the people here. I am ecstatic that this is coming out AT ALL. I personally dislike extras and rarely if ever view them. I love the Superbit dvds (although they should have just released them with the best possible picture/sound in the first place, but...
"I saw Laura Harring's pubic bush quite clearly. I have a distinct memory of it."
This is the second time I have almost wrecked a keyboard by making the mistake of reading this site with a mouthful of coffee.
A similar topic arose at the audioasylum's music forum. Here is an article from forums.sonymusic.com:
