    Another 16:9 Question

Reginald Yes you can but essentially we get to the same place... My Sony Jukebox has within the Screen Setup a TV Type called "16:9/4:3 Wide Mode". It also has 4:3 letter box and 4:3 pan Scan, however, within 16:9/4:3 Wide Mode it outputs the enhanced signal to the TV. I still have to switch...

    Another 16:9 Question

I almost forgot. When you turn the TV off or video switch the enhanced feature turns itself off.

    Another 16:9 Question

Lee I have the 36 inch version Sony (not XBR) and the tv does not switch into the enhanced mode by itself. The XBR is the only Sony Direct View that does the auto switch. Set your DVD player to 4:3 and 16:9. If the movie is enhanced for widescreen, then enter into the TV menu and select...

    Advice needed - Satellite Problems

Robert Thanks. Instead of replacing the entire length of the cable (over 50 ft), I should cut some of the existing cable where the F-connector is and screw on a new one (while at the same time exposing some "fresh" copper connection - or do you think the corrosion would go pretty deep down...

The signal strength is very low to nothing at times and on other ocasions will fluctuate up...

Atlantis - Regular version = Enhanced for x

Can someone please confirm whether the regular version of this movie is enhanced for 16x9? The Collector's Edition is the only one of the 2 movies that expressly states "enhanced." Thanks.

    Speaker setup on Yamaha RXV

I have a Yamaha RXV 995 and I recently read a post that indicated that it was best to set the center and main speakers on the "small" setting and the subwoofer setting on "both". I have some decent size Klipsch speakers that do a good job of passing a decent LFE signal. I also have a Klipsch...

Daisy Chain two SONY DVD Jukeboxes?

    1) Has anyone been successful connecting two SONY DVD Jukebox players by making one of the players the master? I called Sony Customer service and they said no - they can only be masters. I have a 200 player and I want to add a 300 player but I don't want to go through the hassle of keeping...

    Component Video Splitter

I am running out of room on my 200 DVD player. I am contemplating buying a new DVD 300 player but I have no more component video input on my tv. Does anyone know if component video splitters exist so I can use two DVD players with the same TV input? Thanks. :)
