OK, I'll bite: What's significant about this CD? I've got one that I've had for many years; it's the right catalog number, but it's not made in Japan. Any chance a really old "made in USA" unit will fit the bill? Brad

I'm solidly in the "Why use XP when there's Windows 2000" crowd. I just don't see what XP has to offer me that makes me want to upgrade. Fast user switching? Who cares! Remote desktop? pcAnywhere/VNC/others. Brad

Wow! $2500? Alan, how old is your AVP? Mine is almost six years old, so I'm sure I would be in for the most expensive trip (the Proceed site suggests the price is "pro-rated" if you have a newer AVP). I definitely won't be upgrading anytime soon! Brad
