Thanks for the review Ron. I can't wait for this movie, loved it in the theater. I noticed the color you mention in the theater so I think it's normal.
Ron, I feel your pain...lol...I actually forced myself to watch this movie because I got a screeners copy about 6 weeks ago. I was going to do a short review but thought why bother. I agree with you on the picture quality and my screeners copy only was in pro-logic. zzzzzzzzz.
I definatley notice an improvement in sharpness and detail in the Dracula SB as opposed to the original version. Dracula is the first SB title for me and I'm convinced. I viewed the movie on a Sony VPL W400Q lcd projector with a screen size of 45"x80". For me it was like getting new glasses. I...
 Well, today I went over to BB to rent JP3 and of course nothing but a shelf full of crappy pan and scam versions. So I said to the drone behind the counter, "where are the widescreen versions of JP3?" He gave a stupid look and said, "whatever is out there that's all we have." So, I went...
I believe there is a spelling error on the back cover. It's under the speacial features, it says REKALL.
Will a printout of the cover fit on an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper??
Thanks.
Thanks for the review Ron! You mean VH-1 Pop Up Videos! MTV....never heard of it!
VH-1...The only real music station.

Hi Julie,
I think anamorphic enhancement for a 1.66:1 ratio on a a 16x9 screen is ideal, it would fill the screen top to bottom but, not all the width...still it would use more of the width of my 16x9 screen than a 4:3 image.
On a 4:3 set a 1.66:1 ratio would fill the screen width and only...
Actually, the material won't do anything to lower the sonic boom, you need mass to stop structure born noise transmission. Example, double drywall, isolate the ceiling in your theater from the floor above (essentially a room within a room). There are good construction topics over at...
