I had a mitz hdtv box but it stopped receiving local not HDTV local but regular local so mitz gave me back my money and I bought a Hughes box. The Hughes box is no where near as good as the old mitz My HDTV locals fade in and out going at a signal strength of 70-80 it will pixilate terribly...
I have an HDTV. Currently I have a cable from the antenna which runs about 75' then I split the signal to go to my HDTV sat reciever and then to a 6way distribution box. The signal on the HDTV is fine however the signal through the 6way isnt as good as I know it could be. My question is should I...
Unfortunately my HDTV Satellite Multiswitch has failed. My rearanged set up is as follows I have two separate dishes hitting the A satellite and one dish hitting the B satellite. One of the A Satellites I have the dual LNB going to a standard Multi switch and then to my non HDTV receivers. The...
How many of you would walk up to a stranger at the county fair and say, your kids look a little sun burnt shouldn’t you get them out of the sun? Or stop hitting that kid. I know I have and I know my wife would but not all the time. I really dislike Hillary Clinton, but I do agree with “it takes...
I also have the mits HDTV sat box. I was getting horrible reception on the 119 because of trees. I now have one regular duel line dish hitting the 101 sat and another about 10 ‘ away hitting the 119 they then feed into the multiswitch that came with the mits receiver. For me it worked like a...

The infer-red mouse is a wire that hangs over the VCR it automatically starts recording on the VCR and then shuts it off. For instance every day at 3-4:00pm my satellite turns to a local ABC station and records my wife’s soap opera. It is so easy to record things on The Mitsubishi...
I can help you on the first; I have the Mitsubishi HDTV /Direct TV receiver hooked up to my Pioneer 710. HDTV on the pioneer is outstanding. I have just plain old Sony sat boxes for my other TVs.
What we do for recording is use the infer-red mouse that comes with the Mitsubishi to record...
I live in Vienna. PBS seems to come and go. I have a rooter on my antenna and when I hit PBS I can get about 80% but then I leave it there and Turn on the TV the next day and PBS is gone? I miss their loop However HDNet is great.
Jim,
if you can not put an antena on your roof because of local Home owner Assoc. There is a bill that was past by congress that says that it is legal as a home owner to do so. Do a search hear you will find the link to the leagal page that talks about this
I had an antenna and rooter installed from a local Antenna company. The nice thing is that I can dial in to get the maximum strength from the local HDTV channels. I live on the out side of Washington DC. I can now move my antenna with the rooter and get Baltimore stations and some from...
I re-read your post Im assuming that you have composit inputs in your vcr. If not you have an antenna out on your sat reciever. I have mine going to 3 other tvs so you could split it to go to your vcr if you do not have composit ins.
Let me see if I can answer this for you. I have the mitzibishi HDTV reciever. It has two inputs in the back of the reciever One for Sat and one for reg antenna OTA. Our locals are 4,5,7&9. I pay for local sat reception so on this box I have 3 channel 4,5,7&9. SO when I pull up the Sat menu I...
Is it worth it. It really depends on you. I have the mitz HDTV Direct TV box and pioneer 710. We watch some of the movies on HBO, Band of brothers was great. The HDNet is awsome but its a loop of PBS type stuff with some Hawian Tropic Pagents THe sports are great but watching down hill bike...
I have had this unit for about 6 months now. I do have it on the top shelf with lots of room on the sides and top. It replaced a sony box. I do not find it to be any warmer then any of my 3 other sony boxes. I also have to say I love it. THe HDTV out put is awsome and the second RF remote...
I am the proud owner of the 710. I used to have the 700 which stunk. Luckily I was able to protest enough that pioneer and my local dealer upgraded my set to the 710 free of charge.
I love the set for everything Watching reg TV, Direct TV, DVD and the picture on HDTV is just out of this...
I have read that all of the sopranos are recorded twice. Once for HBO with the nudity violence and language and another version to run on regular TV for future syndication.
I have had my box for about 6 months now. I love it.
The speed of my menus are fine. I have seen the speed of the RCA box and the Mits box blows it away. It also depends on what menu you are using.
AS for the adding channels I found my kids where hitting the favorite button. You have I...
I live in N VA. I have the mitz HDTV Direct TV receiver. you should only need a simple off the air antenna. I strongly recommend that you get one. I had and antenna with a rooter installed so I can pick up all the stations at 100%. However if I point the antenna S/W I can get 4,5,7,9 and...
Steve,
Make sure you get the multi switch that is for the HDTV. It must have a total of 4 ins. Two from the 119 satellite
and two from the 101 satellite. I am using two dishes and it works well you can fine tune each satellite better this way.
I believe I was the last set Michael did on his tour. Not only does my TV look spectacular he is a very nice person.
I am so glad I got onto the tour.

I feel your pain. I had three Sony XBRs 61" TVs all three where crap. Then I upgraded to a pioneer 700 that was crap but now I have a pioneer 710 that I LOVE. I bought mine for a local dealer. I wrote e-mails I screamed I through a fit but finally got my way. Sony service is terrible. my...
The tilt or elevation is located on the dish its self on the arm that holds it to the mounting bracket this is up or down. You will see on the side of the dish a nut that then has some tick marks and elevation marks next to it This is your elevation. The azimuth is where you point the dish in...
