Already own the Japanese box set (which includes ALL the episodes up to the 2000's). Wondering if the transfers are really that much better than what I already have?
Bought one of the last SING 2 3D Blu-rays from Random Space Media. Received it within a few days. Watched it tonight.
Honestly, if I had not read about the authoring error concerning the missing text on the right eye of certain signs throughout the film, I may not have noticed it (or even cared...
I just saw a Robert Ballard interview. He as much said that this has been the first catastrophic implosion since 1960 when deep sea submersibles were first designed. It is very sad that this had to happen, but hopefully some good will come out of it in that new regulations and specifications for...
Using the mechanical HDMI switch, nothing (from 4K down to a DVD) will play at all from the UB820 to a TV or computer monitor.
However, using the same HDMI cables and the same mechanical HDMI switch, the OPPO player (which is not the 4K model) WILL pass both video and audio through the...
Okay, I think I found the problem. Although I can't imagine why this would cause the issue.
On my first attempt to play one of the discs from the 3D Avatar set, I had my Panasonic UB820 players HDMI out cable connected to a mechanical HDMI selector switch which then used another HDMI cable...
UPDATE:
Well, this is interesting. I have two Panasonic UB820s. Both were purchased at around the same time a few years back, and both are updated to 1.69 version of firmware.
The only difference is, one of them will not play any of the Avatar: The Way of Water Blu-ray discs from the 3D set...
I had the same problem with my Panasonic UB820. I checked the online firmware update and it said that it was already the current version. Not even the bonus features or the 2D disc would play. :(
Everything plays fine on my OPPO. Going to watch it now.
Ron, I loved everything about the first one, especially the 3D. I did not see the sequel in a theater. But I have a good friend who saw the 3D version multiple times and swore to me that it's the best 3D experience that he's ever seen (apparently he hasn't seen that many 3D movies, especially...
Watched Robot Monster in PERFECT DLP 3D last night! WOW! Great job! And the 3D extras are FANTASTIC!
The 3D stills from the fifties and sixties blew me away! The colors were so saturated and eye popping! And the Mount Rushmore shot!!! All those classic cars...
Amazing!!!
Even if The main...
Around 1990, I passed on a first British edition of Goldfinger in pretty decent shape that was priced around $250. Still kicking myself for that one!
We get too soon old, and too late smart. 🙄
Fortunately, I bought this first edition library set many years ago.
Some of the American novels had already been edited many years ago. But this set is an exact replica of the unedited first edition British novels.
