So raising this thread from the dead...
I wonder if the successful release of the sound short collection means there might be better hope the silents will get some type of respectful release?
Can I assume that the reason this thread went so quiet is because everyone is busy watching L&H and no one has any complaints on the set? It is a truly spectacular collection.
Looks like this set has dropped $5 on Amazon... Now $$64.99

My set arrived from Amazon UK today. Took a very long time but looks to be well worth it. The packaging is really high quality. 21 DVD's in slim cases in a very solid and classy box. I watched pretty much an entire disc and must say the quality seems as good if not better than I've seen before...
Well if there's anything to the theory that placing an order for the UK set will somehow cause a US set to magically appear...I've done my part. I paid a bit more than Joe did as mine was a little more than $60 delivered to the States but a bargain at pretty much any cost. I found a good deal at...
So now that folks have had this set for a couple of months what's the final verdict? I've watched all the shorts thru disc 4 now and must say I'm having a great time! Believe it or not I've never seen any of these before this so have nothing else to compare them to except the Laurel and Hardy...
I have for sale my gently used Panasonic Blu-ray Player / Model: DMP-BD10. This player is arguably the best of the set-top Blu-ray players and has the following features: UNPARALLELED PICTURE QUALITY • Advanced I/P Conversion with P4HD (Pixel Precision Progressive Processing for HD) • 1080P...

"What am I missing? Spun my first BD's tonight... I thought BD was supposed to have the live action menus that overlay right onto the Movie while playing?? The menu system on 5th Element, Terminator, and UE work the same as standard dvd... Scene to scene,???" My guess is that you're using the...
Just came from Costco in Burbank CA and they have "I Love Lucy" Seasons 1 - 5 for $35.00 each... But here's the wrinkle - Buy any one of Seasons 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 and receive $12.00 off Season 6 at the register. I picked up both Seasons 5 and 6 and it rang up with a $12.00 discount off my total...
I would also like to chime in and say what a fan I am of Randy Skretvedt's fantastic book on the boys. After years of being somewhat of a L&H fan I decided to go "Hog Wild" and pick up as many books on their films as e-bay could provide. I discovered that Mr Skretvedt's book was "highly...
It came via Air Mail. It was double boxed. Both the inner box as well as the outer box were Amazon boxes. The outer box was pretty banged up (almost looked like it had been opened and re-taped) but the DVD's and their box were in great shape. :emoji_thumbsup:
