The 4K picture looks great, definitely better than the older bluray. Unfortunately I am also seeing the picture is shifted down about 1/2” on my projector screen. Not really distracting but it is noticeable.
I watched this over the weekend and the 4K image looks fantastic. Obviously an update from the original DVD but also a great example of how good 4K can look.
I just finished watching Go For Sisters (2013) and really enjoyed it. We definitely need some more John Sayles movies on bluray. The DVD just don’t look very good on my home theater screen.
I bought it on Prime Day also, just knowing the price would drop as soon as I did 😬
I also found issues on a few disks but Amazon sent a replacement set that fortunately did not have issues on those disks.
I purchased Star Trek TNG on Bluray during the Amazon Prime sale. I also added Luther: The Complete Series and Seasons 1-4 of the French series "The Bureau".
With the increased popularity of streaming, this is another series that I doubt will ever be released on Bluray. I see the DVD set is available for about $58 during the current sale at Deep Discount DVD. That is tempting because I can’t see a better price for the HD streaming options and they...

What about an anamorphic lens for the JVC projector? I just ordered an NX7 and Panamorph DCR lens. The retail price of that combination is roughly same as the NX9 and gives me widescreen movies using the full resolution of the projector.
I thought it was a disappointing episode. The characters seemed to be a long way from home and there were few surprises. The story also felt like it wrapped up quickly and had a few holes.
Was this episode supposed to be part of Season 1?
