Purchased: May 2006 Manufactured: ? (will find out) Seems to freeze and lock up on "Saints Row" alot. It seems to work okay most of the time. But there are some occasions when it locks up and freezes during gameplay, even with other titles. I am not the user. I am reporting what my son...
Hey, Jon... Don't let this individual bring you down. Being critical is one thing, but to insult someone and play games with them is quite another. Good job on the system! I have seen it in person and it truly is awesome! Every Home Theater set-up is unique on it's own, no matter how...
I have mellowed alot on the issue of O.A.R. over the years. Ideally, yes...I would like to see a version more faithful to what the theatrical release looked like. However...whatever they're doing...the end result should be a better looking version than the current version from RHINO...
:) This brings back memories, John. Years ago, on this very forum, going at it with the full-screen sympathizers. LOL! I see not much has changed. You'd think that by now (2004), we'd at least start getting 16:9 full-screen/pan and scan...not that this paractice would be any...
This thread has been an interesting read. I only post now because I got to see these films in bits and pieces on a 98" front projection system. They look very good. I haven't posted in a while, but its good to see that most here are still passionate about Home...
There are two (2) open spots available. It's not too late to enter my event. :) It starts at 19:30 (7:30pm EST) tonight 12/31/03. You have up until just before the start of the event to sign up.
I am inviting anyone who is interested in entering a Tournament to join my racing team over at http://www.xboxracing.net. Maybe your tired of just racing meaningless races online and want to be part of a Team or group with STATS tracking and a championship battle, well...check it out! All...
I'm definitly on the side who did not like T-3. It's an insult to the ideas and story of the firts two films. Stahl was a horrible John Connor. Arnold still has the Terminatior look of T-2, but the asence of James Cameron is painfully obvious in his performance. The T-X was very...
My local grocery store stocked nothing but the "full frame" versions as well. "full frame" LOL! This one (SCARFACE) is pure PAN AND SCAN butchery at its worst.
SCARFACE has been a long time favorite of mine. I quote lines from the movie on the fly at times! :) I must have been age 14 or 15 when I first saw this movie in the late eighties on P&S VHS. It's just as good now as it was then IMO. :emoji_thumbsup:
I traded in my PS2... I may have to buy it again though...NASCAR Thunder 2004's online ability on the PS2-only has me thinking about doing this. I'm just waiting to see what the exact online features will be before I do it.
It's a good game. I didn't like it on the PS2, but the smoothness of the graphics and the speediness of the framerate on XBOX really has me hooked on it...not to mention the gameplay, which is enjoyed thanks the XBOX enhancements and online play. I don't have a problem with LIVE for this...
Hmm...I didn't notice any frame rate issues. I played the game for about 4-5 hours last night, on and off line. The game is really fun on LIVE! The most fun I had on LIVE yet.
Man, what is up with them?! I was looking forward to NASCAR Thunder 2004 online, but if I want that, I guess I have to fire up the good'ole inferior PS2.
FIGAROU, Ahh...so its you. Don't worry. I wasn't on yesterday, but I will be challenging your top times very soon... :) I, too, had the PS2 version with plenty of practice.
Anybody here playing this game on XBOX? If so, do you have any stats on the "live" scoreboard? I got the game yesterday and was quickly addicted to getting all the top times in the races. I played for 7-8 hours straight! I completed the game and put up all #1 top times on the tracks as of...
