Thanks for the reply, Lewis. I am glad to see that it has a decent crossover for DVD-A and SACD. I do wish that it had delay settings for SACD though. I understand that the 2200 has the ability to add +10 db compensation to the subwoofer for DVD-A and SACD. Does the 2900 have this feature...
Does the bass management work properly on the Denon DVD 2200. What is the crossover? Does this unit allow for time delay? Will this unit output pure DSD or will it convert to PCM? I am not very concerned with the video performance. I use an RP91 for that. Thanks in advance. Jerry
Thanks for the input guys. It would be great if I could just roll on down to my local Target and pick one up. I will have to check this out. It isn't listed on the website. Jerry
John, Thanks for the info. I was unaware that they were the same. I assume that you got this information from Parasound? Is the same true in regards to the HCA-1000 and 1000A? Jerry
Eric, I used to run a similar configuration. I upgraded to a HCA 2003A and never looked back. The 2003A really allowed my NHT 2.5(86db, 6ohm) speakers to shine. I do not notice any problem with cross talk between the channels. Are you looking at the 2003 or 2003A? Jerry
I missed the show last night  Could someone please tell me what song each person chose. I am a huge Billy Joel fan and I cannot believe that I missed this one. Thanks Jerry
Here is what I think will happen. I think that Evan will make his choice and confess his secret. He will then wait in the ball room for her to make her decision. At that time, Fox will approach the girl and make her an offer of $500,000-$1,000,000 to leave him. This would answer the question...
Haris, I have to agree with Yogi on this one. I really don't think that this is a fair fight for the H/K amp wise. The 2205 is a beast and the rotel is a good mate for it. I may be biased though. I own the 1066 and 3 Parasound amps. Jerry
StevenW, I love all three of my Parasound amps. I have 2 HCA1000A which looks to be the predecessor of the A23. If the A23 is superior to the 1000A(which I have heard it is) then you should be very happy with it. Jerry
Thanks Jack, I would be interested in hearing one of those. Gene HS You may also want to look at the Adire Rava. It is a very musical sub. I believe that it is priced about the same as the HSU VTF-2 Jerry
Doug, I could not agree with you more about cropping having a very noticable effect on this film. You pointed out the most obvious scenes, however I found myself noticing it in every scene. Tarantino really does use every inch of the screen. I have to say that I am going to have a hard time...
HBO definately cropped it which pissed me off. However it looked fantastic in 1080i. I could not believe how much better it looked than my new collectors edition DVD. At least we know that when the time comes we will have a pristine copy of PF on HD-DVD. Man, I love that movie. Jerry
