Bob [comment removed by moderator] Sagat? He's been involved in some pretty funny stuff. Anyways, to stay on topic Will Smith, Meg Ryan, Sarah Jessica Parker, Hugh Grant...
I'm thinking some people here need to read a book! I love Willy Wonka the movie, but I like Roald Dahl too and it'd be great to see a realization of the actual source material. In regards to another poster I'd love to see a "remake" of the Wizard of Oz in the vein of Return to Oz that follows...
At least 26 14,17,22,23,25,26,31,35,44,52,58,67,69,70,75,76,78 ,80,82,88,91,93,95,96,99,100 I enjoyed several especially Hercules in New York The Stupids is the only movie I've ever asked if we could leave (we couldn't (and yes that means I saw it at the theater)).
If you're talking about the standard version of the Thief and the Cobbler with Matthew Broderick as the thought narration and Ernest Borgnine mumbling then I don't think I can agree. I didn't think that there was an actual release of the original though. I'd have to throw in 2 cents for Iron...
Usually when they're talking about no passes they mean discounted tickets you got at one time or another probably as a package. Usually they're matinee priced tickets you can use in the evening. When you buy them they tell you that they can't always work. I believe that the no passes is mandated...
If you haven't seen it, try From Hell. I don't want to say too much though because that'd possibly ruin a couple turns and twists. There's also this movie called the Matrix...a summer sleeper from a few years ago.
If you look at Rockustic speakers or probably any other outdoor speakers you'll see they have subwoofers to be buried in the ground. They are even more like water heaters than sonosubs.

The IR in on components are used for 2 different things:
1. A main piece like the receiver can control all the other pieces of the same brand.
2. Control systems can use these to send IR to individual components without having to run an emitter to the front of the piece plus it eliminates...
Just to clarify there is a seperate RF base station you can buy which has 4-IR ports on it that you can then plug 2-headed IR connectors into that allows for control of 8 devices. I believe there are 3 different RF freqs. so you could control 24 devices remotely. Looking at ProntoPro I don't...
I'll put my vote in for a Pronto, but it's hardly the king of remotes maybe it can be mayor of Remoteville. An AMX (or Crestron) system completely mops the floor with it. The one I use is a little antiquated, but it's got an 8-inch color LCD and can control RS-232 devices. Not to mention it...
I heard a great lecture about IEEE1394/HAVi back at CEDIA by the VP of Mitsubishi. Firewire can carry about 10 HD streams simultaneously. IEEE1394b allows for many more streams and makes housewide distribution possible. Any given stream carries:
-what is is
-how to control it
-Copy info...
A Luton spacer really isn't the right solution for multiple scenes in one room. However, if you really felt hacking it you'd need something like a Pronto Pro set to the RF mode and then use the IR emitter base to run to each of the switches. However, the IR receiver is on the front of the unit...
Has anyone used a Pioneer Elite with a Sony Sat-HD100? For some reason we can't get the HD input to sync up, which results in no picture. Is there an internal setting or maybe a scan converter we can use to get this to work?
Does your projector have RGBHV or VGA? Because that should look far better than s-video and somewhat better than regular RGB. (not to mention it's non-interlaced)
2 years ago it was part of the CEDIA tour. I'm still not quite certain what to expect this year, though I'm certain there will be some touring going on. The house itself is up for Best Integrated Home.
I updated my link, but I don't have any HT pics on-line right now.
A Niles AC-3 is a powerstrip with 2 switched outlets and 1 unswitched. The switched outlets have relays already built into them which you could then run to your Axcent 3. You can jumper the relay on the Axcent with the...
The one I get to visit nearly everyday:

This theater has also won "best in the world" by some organization. There's tons more pictures on the web, but I don't have any links lying around.
Well, I have an Axcent 2 and 2 Crown D60s and a Symetrix amp that I use. When I get around to it, I'll just plug them into a Niles AC-3 and run it to a relay on the Axcent 2. If I didn't want to turn on the rears when only listening to stereo I'd probably plug them into a seperate AC-3 and...
I'll chime in to be redundant and mention that I've got the S312s and an S-Center up front and the S38s in the rear. Really nice and they have some major presence. I use Crown amps so it's a very flat neutral sound.
I've got a Pioneer Elite 610HD that I'm wanting to control with a control system. The IR receiver is on the inside of the set somewhere. I've tried the S-link type connector on the back and that didn't seem to work. Does anyone have any insight on this without tearing the set apart. If it does...
I went ahead and emailed off that I will hopefully be there. A neat little aside Scott Jones is in this weeks People (he's apparently one of the most eligible bachelors in the US) anyways you can just make out his theater behind him and he's standing right next to his touch panel (which I did a...
If the Hollywood Filmworks is so bad then why don't we do Cinema Grill in Greenbriar? I haven't been there in a while, but the food isn't bad and the picture and audio are awesome.
