How it's going.
New issues have cropped up since last August. First, the right CV axle boot developed a rip and the axle is shaking a little bit when you move it with your hand. Ordered and received a remanufactured axle last October.
Since I now use public transportation to get to work (one...
I'll be waiting until the proper electric non-compliance Fiat 500e makes its appearance with the Tesla plug before I consider buying an EV once I've worn out my 500 Abarth.
Funny thing. It'll only be initially launched in Quebec and BC before being launched in the rest of Canada, which makes...
This review of the Marley Positive Vibration 2 closed-ended on-ear wired headphones with microphone is being posted at House of Marley Canada, Amazon, Reddit, and The Home Theatre Forum.

After reading all 50 pages of this post, the one comment that ringed true to me was:
😁
I finally finished watching the first season this week. I had stopped at episode 6 last year. I watched episode 9 on Halloween night which was extremely appropriate!
While the show's reasonably good, I...
There's also the worry that his implant will wipe out his memories again and he forgets he's in a relationship with Tendi. It took a bit of time for them to rekindle their friendship. Imagine if they were married when it happened!
I've only managed to get through half of the season. This might have been one comeback too many for this show. Billy West's Fry voice sounds old and tired, and Leela has lost her intelligence along with her charm.
I really enjoyed these two episode enormously! Very decent humour, many flashbacks to past incidents on Voyager, adorable "bone-drinking" alien creatures...
But now that the main four ensigns have all been promoted, does that mean Mariner and Tendi will be sharing quarters, and will the show...
Definitely. I'll send them an email this weekend and see what kind of response I get from them. The warranty on the work is 12 months as indicated on the invoice. Considering the AC went out exactly two weeks after I picked up the car, It's safe to state that it was very likely the result of the...
New issue with the car. I lost the air conditioning! I think the refrigerant leaked out. This should be covered under the repair warranty since the AC was working fine before the repair job.
Good thing it's happening at the end of summer instead of the beginning. Also, I have some vacation time...
Bad news, everyone! I have another busted valve!
Good news, everyone! It's only the valve in the left front tire! 😁
It's a slow leak that's kept under check by the valve cap for now. I'll have it fixed later this week as soon as I can set up an appointment.
Aside from that, the car's running...
How's it going now...
The "wife" is back on the road!
Yep! She's all fixed up and running beautifully now!
This is why she broke down.
One completely demolished exhaust valve. According to the mechanic, it looked like it was burnt.
Here's how much it cost to fix the car. Do...
How it's going...
On June 20 2023, the car suffered from a failed exhaust valve in cylinder #3. It happened on my way to work in the morning shortly before the March Road exit on Highway 417 in Kanata. The engine sound had changed abruptly, but with no sudden loss of power or seizing issues...
A 57 year old TV show produced on an extremely tight budget, limited special effects capabilities, cheaply built sets, and no computer technology whatsoever. When you factor in the poor ratings, it was a miracle the show survived for three seasons!
Usually, crossover episodes are terrible. But in this case, it worked surprisingly well! And it's totally believable that you should never meet your heroes because the same thing often happens in real life without the time travel angle. I'm especially glad that just enough past/future...
An update. The job is going great! I've passed my three month probation with flying colours after making some extremely significant improvements to their software!
The car's still going great especially now that it's a daily driver. I still had the dreaded dry dipstick syndrome last week, which...
It was good, but I wouldn't call it extraordinary. At least the storyline was mostly consistent with just a few annoyances such as how so few people can operate such a massive ship in battle without a proper crew to deal with damage control.
Can we now get new stories with a new ship and crew...
Even then, the old bridge was still lit a bit darker than in the TV series.
Today, it's either lit darkly, or lit brightly with tons of lens flare. Very annoying.
Renew The Orville!
I don't care what the critics have to say about this movie. I just love it! It's incredibly campy! It's my weekend "comfort movie" when I have nothing better to watch.
Always been a favourite movie for me. It's just so perfectly executed in every way! Writing, direction, acting, editing, music... You just don't see that anymore. Most of today's movies are either superheroes or Oscar-bait.
I believe it's now at the same level as alcohol consumption. Just use some common sense. It seems that's exactly how the public approached this. There hasn't been any signs of civil disruptions aside from having way more dispensaries than the market can handle.
