Go to www.avsforum.com and visit the "Under $5000 list price" digital projector forum. Also review the CRT forum there as there are many opportunities to buy used CRT projectors in very good shape. There are a lot of people enjoying front projection for a couple thousand bucks these days.
Go back to AVS forum and read the threads in the digital projectors section and run searches on the projectors you're interested in. The LP350 is obsolete for HT use. It has a slow color wheel which results in a significant number of viewers seeing rainbow artifacts. Dan
I think he's right on. You have to be willing to invest a heckuva lot of time in study and hanging around these boards to get a system set up right.
Having said that, hanging around with you guys is a lotta fun so it ain't all bad! :D
