Is the 2-disc Fight Club still available? I have the original, but my sister is looking for one as a gift this year. From what she says the 1-disc is all she can find.
$14 is really cheap. I would still have second thoughts about buying it for that. It depends on how much I think I can stand at the moment. I still havent watched all of Pirates of the Caribbean. No EE and this would have been a no-brainer. I would have payed more than $14 for it too.
You'd think this DVD would actually have GOOD picture quality. Death to Edge Enhancement PLEASE. If you view on anything larger than a 32" Edge Enhancement is VERY DISTRACTING. I would actually go so far to say that EE makes DVD transfers absolutely horrible, but I seem to be a little more...
Awesome, thanks Ted. I will check that out. And it's a Robert Harris thread, no less! I was excited when I heard of the Generations recall. Man, I got my hopes up for nothing!.
I was going to say the same thing. I'd love to have the trailer, but I was most concerned when I read Bill Hunt's take on the image quality of the actual movie! I HATE Edge Enhancement! Sometimes I think I'm a minority because I thought the EE on Pirates of the Caribbean was horrible, but...
I've been casually following the news on this set since the original announcement, and I'd say I'm pretty disappointed. I like the price point, but this isnt really what I wanted to buy. Sure you can settle for this set, but it's so obvious that this set could have been SO much more. I...
Since there doesn't seem to be much interest in a trade, I will go ahead and sell it to anyone who would like it. It looks like the lowest price on dvdpricesearch.com is around $85, so I'll let it go for $75 shipped to the US. This season of Voyager is still factory sealed. Shoot me a...
Hey guys, I've got a factory sealed copy of the new Star Trek: Voyager Season 1 that I would like to trade for any factory sealed season of Star Trek: TNG Seasons 3-7. I'll gladly trade for any season 3-7, but I would prefer Season 3 if anyone has it available. Please feel free to PM or...
When the TNG sets first came out, I planned to own them ALL. I want to own them all. TNG has got to be my favorite show of all time. After that, I'm getting DS9 for sure. I missed over half of that show during its original run and I want to give it another shot on DVD. After all this time...
Make sure you have port 4000 open if you have a router. Other than that, I think all you do is put another person's IP address in and you will connect with them. I have everything setup on my end, I just haven't found anyone that actually wanted to play. If you are interested, PM or email...
I think Glen would just prefer to post it to a site purely dedicated to video games. Some people did ask him to just cut and paste the roundup here also, but, AFAIK, he wanted to do some unigue things on LCVG and just post it there.
Hi Ken. Glen moved his video game roundup to the LCVG Forums. Here's the link to the roundup for this past week: http://www.lcvg.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=1531 Check out the rest of the forum too. It's a cool place to hang out and chat about your gaming addiction. :)
Since there is not exact science when it comes to movie reviewing, it gets controversial sometimes since everyone has their own opinion. I also think that the "thumb up/down" may be more effective because it forces you to read the review instead of putting so much emphasis on the star or...
We were never promised any groundbreaking news in the first place. Martin Blythe just teased us a little and any hype built up afterwards was done by ourselves.
It was no press release with hard details, but I'd say this sounds like great news. This is the first time that Paramount has actually ackowledged work on a box set and it is clear that they are working on getting the cut footage restored. I would think they do not want to make any promises...
I have the "Collector's Edition" R1 version of Good Will Hunting and it is definitely NON-ANAMORPHIC. I'll have to check the back of the case when I get home to see if mine has the anamorphic misprint on it. The only anamporphic version I know of is the Canadian Alliance version, just as...
Andrew, do you even watch Star Trek or anything else for that matter? The short argument against Enterprise is one for simple continuity and better writing. That's it. I don't think that's too much to ask, and could be applied to any TV series. That's not nitpicking, and if Star Trek isn't...
I'm not sure, but I think all of the sets are like this. I remember a thread when these first came out asking why they couldn't just give the intro its own chapter, or put it at the end of one as you said. I only have Season 1 and 2, and I would have to check these to be sure.
Another NGE newbie here. I had the first disc for awhile, just never had a chance to get the others. Now I have them, re-watched the first one, only up through episode 5, and I am so hooked. Loving it so far, and I am quickly scrolling through those posts above referring to the ending ;)
I think the main difference between the two is that Super Mario 64 was fun, and Super Mario Sunshine was just damn frustrating. I still haven't finished it, and I don't know if I ever will.
Just got back from Smackdown, and I managed to get a close up of a sign I made again :emoji_thumbsup: If anyone cares, I'm holding the sign with Mr. America's head and the red, white, and blue "sun rays" coming from behind.
It was a pretty good show. Great matches from Eddieg/Tajiri v. Team...
