I have 5 Anthony Gallo A'Diva speakers available in stainless steel. They're less then a year old and in 10/10 shape. I will include the rubber ring mounts and I have a pair of stands for some if they are local. Shipping to be negotiated.
I also have a pair of the smaller Micro's in black that...
If all you're going to use it for is streaming music a Roku would be a fine choice as well. I have an AppleTV in our system and it gets used a lot to stream our DVD library, listen to music and the odd rental (renting more and more it seems). For what it does it works well and the interface is...
Yes it started last Sunday. TG: Australia isn't too bad either though its new so they're still figuring it all out. This site has the count downs to when the shows are airing. http://www.finalgear.com/
I use VirtualBox and its actually pretty good for freeware. FYI you can boot from a USB or Firewire drive with intel based Mac's (older PowerPC's needed firewire).
I don't think the new monitor is over priced as the cinema displays were never really intended for consumers but pro's willing to pay for the top tier panels. I'd actually consider one if they (or someone) releases a DVI to DisplayPort adapter so I can use it with my existing MBP.
So once again the rumours were spot on. Too bad the pricing isn't more aggressive as I think the market is ripe for Apple to make some serious headway in market share if they were to lower prices for a while...eps during the current markets. Not sure about the 24" screen...its likely really...
I'm for the option of having a matte finish on the laptops...I hated the glossy finish on my last notebook. Its fine on our iMac as it doesn't move and can easily be placed where the reflections aren't an issue...not the case for my MacBook Pro :frowning: I don't mind the removal of the...
My beef in the PC/Mac arguments is that from my experience the PC users are arguing from a point of ignorance in that they've never used OSX nor kept current with what it has to offer etc. Its far from perfect but using both daily I greatly prefer OS X.
I have a netgear switch plugged into my Time Capsule and there's really nothing too it. Performance will be fast enough you won't notice if you're crossing over to the switch just make sure the ethernet cables you're using are rated for gigabit speeds (you should see green lights instead of...
Chrome is built on WebKit from Apple so it should be stable and quick. I tried installing it at work but it keeps crashing during the install so I'm not sure what that's about. Still I'm a die hard FireFox user so we'll see if its good enough to get me to switch. That said I use a number of...
MacBooks won't likely get refreshed this tuesday given delays on Intels side for their new chipset but I wouldn't buy a MacBook until the new versions are released...if only b/c the prices on this years stock will likely drop...but you're going to want the new style from the rumours we're...
Time will tell how popular the US version of the show is...Carolla's certainly going to stir the pot if he voices his thoughts on American car makers...esp the Muscle Cars ;) People love to say Clarkson is anti american so it'll be interesting when Carolla gets on stage and says the same...
Here's an interview with Carolla from MotorTrend Adam Corolla talks cars - Interview with Top Gear U.S. host, comic and DJ Adam Carolla - Celebrity Drive - Motor Trend
I'm about to install this app to see if it will do what it says it will. I have no need to back up each time for my iTouch. Backup Disabler 1.2 - MacUpdate
Are you sure you mouse only has one button? I'm willing to bet that your Mighty Mouse does have right click as the newer models do but it that feature is turned off in System Pref's.
Clarkson's paradigm is fixed on european needs and so most of our cars don't make sense for him...at least that's the angle he uses on a UK TV show where its good for ratings to trash talk American products. Clarkson is a showman and knows what his public wants to hear...besides to be honest his...
...that same thought goes into all Apple products and is why Mac users are so passionate about their computers...its the nuances that add up to make the experience what it is.
