I need advice on a screen for my dedicated home theater. Cost is an issue, but I don't want picture quality to suffer because of my budget.
So, here goes:
1) 16:9 ratio ... 140" on the diagonal.
2) White screen, but has to be sound transparent. (Speakers will be behind the screen.)
I'm trying to make a theater room, and I have a general placement theory question:
If I have a choice, should my "stack" (receiver, blue ray machine, extra amplifier) be placed up front, to the side of the main speakers (about six feet away from the screen), or should the stack be in the back...
