Ozzie & Harriet Release From Sam Nelson?

All we can do is go by what Sam said: A formal announcement is forthcoming this summer but I’m excited to let you Kickstarter supporters hear the news first. The initial release is planned before the year is out. Hopefully, it will happen.

    3D Blu-ray Review September Storm 3D Blu-ray Review

I watched September Storm tonight. I had not watched it before, even though I purchased it when it first came out, because the projector I use with my CinemaScope screen is not 3-D. I finally went ahead and watched it on my 16x9 screen and was very impressed with the color and the outstanding...

At the least, I would like to see them tackle the yellow dye failure issue of the last release with the latest technology. The sharpness on that Blu-ray is outstanding.

Warner detective and western shows question

I prefer that the bumpers remain. I really like the ones in the middle of the show, "And now, back to 77 Sunset Strip".

Ozzie & Harriet Release From Sam Nelson?

Some of the later original episodes would have O&H reminiscing about some past occurrence and they would flash back to that. I believe it was David Nelson who sold the episodes to Gaines. Back in the 1970s I purchased many of them.

    Blu-ray discs won't play.

I read about someone's copy of John Wayne's The Cowboys going bad so I checked mine. Yes, it has turned the dreaded "bronze" color on the play side and won't even boot up to the menu. I tried it on two different BD players. I'm sure I got this when the film was first released. You guys might...

Pre-ordered. I'm looking forward to this. I'm a big Westerns (and 3-D fan) and have never seen the film. Does Julie wear a bathing suit in this one? :D

Kino-Lorber Insider Announcement Thread (Read Guidelines Post #3)

No, it closed in 1976 and was torn down after. Bank and Chinese buffet are in that part of strip mall now. Apparently, Jaws and The Great Waldo Pepper were the last movies shown there, December 4, 1976.

That's neat, Ken. Yeah, the Helix was one of those quonset hut-type theaters built after WWII (it opened in September 7,1948). It closed in 1976. I saw literally hundreds of films there in the 1960s. Great times and memories!

This is my favorite John Wayne film and I have been waiting many years for it to be released. I remember a long, long time ago asking Robert about it after he had talked to the Paramount people. I saw it when it first came out, recommended by a neighbor kid. I've seen it probably twenty times...

From another thread on this forum.
