A pity. From the UK, there’s a 2008 iTV Blu of Great Expectations, and a 2014 Studio Canal of Hobson’s. There’s also an iTunes HD of Oliver Twist. I don’t recall any of them to be spectacular transfers, but I do recall them being significantly better than the ancient Criterion DVDs.

This Random Harvest trailer looks excellent. Is there a new transfer about to be released?

Thanks. I wasn’t even aware there was a 4K available. As the HD is already in my library, that version is the only one I see, even if I search.

I just picked up the iTunes Days of Wine and Roses at $5. Did a fair spot check and IMHO it's the WA transfer. Looks exactly the same as my disc to me.

Coincidentally during COVID and just before David Zazlav. Warner Archive is neither a business nor a corporation. It is a tiny division of what is now a huge conglomerate. This division long had excellent customer service, but since David Zaslav, it can no longer even purchase paper clips...

Thank you. Excellent film. Ahead of it's time. The first of the Noir Westerns, and perhaps the Noirest. We even get Nicholas Musuraca behind the camera. Barbara Bel Geddes is absolutely superb!
