I like to get some opinions on what people on this board think of purchasing used dvds. I can get dvds usually 60 to 75% of retail at a loacal music store. Plus I dont have the cash to buy dvds at 20 bucks a pop

How do you have your dvd player hooked up to the receiver? You need a digital interconnect, either a coax or toslink

Thanks If the crossover is 120 on the sub should it also be 120 on the receiver or higher or lower

Tony I may try the M80s up front as you are right - they have an excellent return policy so it doesn't hurt to try. Was also thinking of stepping up to MC400s up front and moving the 300s to the back in a 6.1 set up Are you using a CSW sub??

Tony Have you heard the CSW M80s? I was thinking of moving my Newton MC 300s to the back surrounds, leaving one as the center and using two M80s as front L/R. I'm not sure if they are timbre matched though You can view the speakers at hifi.com
