Dave, not to be an ass, but I think any vehicle that is environmentally friendly in any way isn't going to be able to do even light off road. That said, I'm glad you're asking the question, and obviously light trucks / SUVs / subaru outbacks vary quite a bit in mileage. I camp and snowboard...- Mark Schermerhorn
