I watched the Blu-ray a few nights ago and I agree that ClassicFlix has done a terrific job with it. There was a bit too much slapstick during the last half of the film for my taste, but there were plenty of laugh out loud moments so I am a happy camper.

Agreed. The late fifties and early sixties were glory years for movie music. United Artists used to put out a new album of movie themes every year.

Another score that could have been nominated that year was The Great Escape by Elmer Bernstein. It was pretty much a Who's Who of composers that year.
