Biggest let-down between the 2 versions: Whedon's is available in 3D, and Snyder's is just in flat 4k 2d.
Nice connection to the Donner films that some may have missed...the cop that Lois brings coffee to is Marc McClure, who played Jimmy Olsen back then.
That was Buzzy Linhart, a well-known musician back then. Heard he passed away a couple years ago. Great opening with the 2001 nod into the Linhart sequence to the tune of Curtis Mayfield. Agree with others here that the Belzer portion doesn't fly. Can't imagine HD benefitting this film very much...
Dante has indicated in the past that studio interference prevented him from completing the film as he envisioned. I could tell. Always liked it but it seems incomplete with a rushed 3rd act. Hope theres a Dante commentary.
All missing the point. I've seen LG respond to an online petition with a little over just 2000 signs regarding some issue. No one accused those 2K sigs of being fake. But over 20,000 is nothing? As I said, it's the biggest response to any A/V issue ever. 20K is also just a representation of...
The point is that it was the largest response to any home video issue prior. If Dolby VIsion or Atmos disappeared tomorrow, it wouldnt get that response. Which you characterize as redundant or fake. Guess you also think...oh never mind.
I do agree that handwritten carries note weight than...
My LG from 2012 is still going strong. Picked it up on CraigsList for $200 about 2 years ago. If it's goes,I still have my pj, placed on a coffee table. That takes up way less room than an 80" panel.
Same here. Right now, a 3d movie is the only way I'd go to a theater. Best way to possibly entice some people to theaters is providing something they cant get at home. (Well, they could but HBOMax wont present WW84 in 3D, even though they are able to. And since it appears there will be a WW84 3D...
Frankenstein: The True Story is the one for me, which also tecently got a long-over remaster and finally got to BD. But love Curse as well. Wish Sony would do something with Revenge of Frankenstein.
I'm tempted to say that you havent seen the best the format has to offer but I dont know what titles you've seen. Thered a reason why most who gaveborh formats would opt for a 3D version of a movie over 4k,if they could only buy one copy of a title. I'd suggest some but since the mod is anti-3d...
No, it's just on every tv, whether people use it or not, even if they dont have a 4k disc player. If 3D were included on all TVs and more people had a chance to experience it, it would only have grown. Heck, it already did match 4k on the disc front, as I stated. People still ask me how they can...
Well there was no consumer support or demand for HDR either. But we get it anyway. How many consumers do you think have Atmos setups? HD disc sales have the same or less market share as 3D did at its height but we get them anyway. But ok, we should settle for less. Gotcha.
