Well, probably because Nazis are making such a comeback in the United States right now, they won't appreciate being made out to be the bad guys.

Any series that lasts long enough goes to space. Coppola was asked to do The Godfather 4: Corleones in Space, where they open a casino on the moon and have to battle the other families for the Mars territory. He turned it down but if his next picture has him in too much debt, it could happen.

And I find it hard to imagine people would want to pay to see that. I thought the chase through the jungle in Crystal Skull was absolutely horrible. CGI awfulness of epic proportions.
