Crawdaddy's "Random Thoughts" about Home Video, Film & TV

Yeah, assuming it was genuine (which I hope it was), at least one or two of the crew members were rolling in laughter after Ben's zinger!

Crawdaddy's "Random Thoughts" about Home Video, Film & TV

Did anybody catch Ben's comment when the film that played before "I Wake Up Screaming" ended? The crew could be heard laughing in the background, because Ben said - coming up, this week's Noir Ally Presentation, 'I Wake Up Screaming', also the title of the autobiography written by Eddie's wife...

I'm remembering it was the Randolph Scott/Budd Boetticer set.

Crawdaddy's "Random Thoughts" about Home Video, Film & TV

On TCM, I try to DVR movies that are premiers, or that do not seem to be shown too regularly. So last night I DVR'ed "So Evil My Love". Given that it is at least somewhat of a film noir, I'm wondering if Crawdaddy also DVR'ed it.

Why are we limited to those two choices? May I vote for "The Big Heat", instead? (Or "While the City Sleeps"?)

Hopefully, for this new effort, Mr. Mueller has already worked behind-the-scenes to resolve the legal issues surrounding "Devil Thumbs a Ride". I would appreciate a TCM airing, and of course a <domestic> Blu or DVD.
