That's hilarious. I thought i was the only one that thought of that. I was trying to place where I had seen that art style and was searching for Johnny Quest cartoon images.
Still no news of an unboxed UHD release for Lawrence but something for your amusement.

Good review. I saw the restoration print twice when it toured in 2009 or so. Monte Carlo was especially striking then as well. The audience was impressed to say the least.
I appreciate how this review is critical yet constructive and complimentary. It will be interesting to see how this release is received and how people take to the HDR. I'm looking forward to this release.
This would be a great move for Criterion. 4K transfers available and no need to commission new artwork or update packaging. Keep the same packaging and artwork and issue it on UHD/Blu. The DVD set was terrific.
I'm keeping my order. There hasn't been any T2-like red flags with this release. It's being offered at a fair price and I'll get to decide with my own eyes.
The release makes sense. The movie is an evergreen title for Paramount. It's a movie available in the usual places and the places you don't normally think of for buying movies, like an end cap at Staples or near the register at 7-11. It may not be as high in public awareness as something...

I've gotten a lot of use out of this line. It's a great way to find out if someone has seen Animal House. The usual reply: "That's the education system, for ya!" All in good fun.
This makes more sense to me. I'd buy box 1 because I'm mostly interested in the older offerings. Box 2 offers more recent movies.
Box 1
Anatomy of a Murder
Dr. Strangelove
Lawrence of Arabia
Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
Oliver
Taxi Driver
Box 2
A League of their Own
Gandhi
Jerry McGuire...
