Bummer about this "trailer" nonsense they are pulling. Damn the Verdict was a good flick though I must say. hadn't seen it until a few weeks ago and I thought it was great!
here's a link to that 5 for $55 sale(I couldn't find it right away when I went to the site, but I may be dumb):

Impossible question! The Thing(1982), The Apartment, Duck Soup, The Long Goodbye & The King of Comedy all vie for the top spot. Any one of those five could be the film I consider my all-time favorite, depending on the day you ask me. Apologies for not being able to definitively say one film...
Sounds like a neat company! I am interested in Who?(aka Robo Man) for sure. Any 70s era Elliot Gould I've not seen is a must.
Also Human Experiments(prison movie with Linda Haynes), Girl in Blue, Old Enough & Anna to the Infinite Power sound interesting.
Good to hear Greasers Palace will be...
I am loving all these Sony classic film sets for sure. Wondering if anyone has heard if 99 RIVER STREET might be included in any upcoming noir sets? Really looking forward to getting that film.
Anyone know of a date for The DEADLY TOWER with Kurt Russell? saw it on the upcoming releases, but haven't seen it since and most of those titles have come out.
Have you considered buying the Hester Street dvd that Home Vision put out several years ago? Great little film.

All great! I'll second all of these! Dion Bros, great stuff! I'll add Deadhead Miles, Nightfall(1957), Lure of the Swamp, What Happened Was..., At Sword's Point, Baby Blue Marine and Ride the Pink Horse...
Great suggestions here Jon, very cool. I may bump Streets Of Fire up to next in line, that one is a lot of fun... Also liked the Bugsy Malone suggested, have a dvd of that ready to rotate in...
Wow, great lists here with TONS of good stuff! Many of my personal favorites(Duel, The Birds, The Last Voyage, Breaking Away, Quatermass and the Pit...) You guys were right on the mark with a lot of these suggestions as I was considering many of them already(Buckaroo Banzai, Robinson Crusoe...
Thank you good call on these! I forgot that I showed him Time Bandits and he liked it, so Munchausen is a good logical next step. And he'd love Red October too! Putting them in the queue now!
Hello, new to the forum but a big movie fan. I have a 9 year old step son who I have a regular movie night with every Friday night. We have been doing this for more than a year and a half. We have a regular schedule of watching a cartoon, then some trailers for upcoming movies we might watch...
Well worth a look as a rental at the very least. This film was one of the big surprises of last year for me. Found myself much more engaged by it than I ever thought possible.
