My wife and I usually love doctor Who. We just watched the episode with the babies, and then the "music" episode. We found these both really really stupid, and may not watch the next one. Tell me they get better!

Is there a Christmas special this year?

I am e-mailing some of the responses here to my wife. After years of watching and enjoying Dr. Who with me “The Flux” did her in and she has vowed never to watch the show again. I hope you change her mind!

My wife and I have watched all the modern Dr. Whos, but she absolutely hated “the Flux”. It was utterly confusing and had far too many characters. I’m afraid she has sworn off Dr. Who for good.

We found the show absolutely frantic. Far too many characters introduced, far too many plots! The dog character was terrible. He looked like a Disney costumed character from Disneyland. There was so much noise on the soundtrack that we had to put on the subtitles. In one word — bleck!

We have generally enjoyed Jodie Whittaker and her stories. I don't consider myself stupid, (after all "I am a high school grad-uate"), but the ones involving Peter Capaldi were often incomprehensible to us. My wife and I would watch the entire thing and discuss what had gone on. Often we could...

That means the Canadian SciFi channel as usual is crazy. They also listed the new Picard series as TBA for the last month.

Is this the last new Dr Who episode for a while? My PVR guide says next week is a rerun of “Origin of the Daleks part 1” from 1975!

I have really enjoyed the new cast for Dr. Who this year. Too bad the plots have been so uninteresting!
