I'm only a few episodes into Season 1 and this is funny, funny stuff. I forgot how great Bill Macy was in this series. A lot of the jokes went WAY over my head as a kid, but now I can really appreciate them.

Agree that this show is WAY funnier than it gets credit for, at least the first few episodes I've watched so far. Bea Arthur was a master of the "slow-burn" reaction.
I just put my pre-order in on Amazon this morning for $101.19. Seems like that first season release was eons ago now. Sounds like most (if not all) of the episodes are intact, so can't wait to take it all in...right on MAUDE!
